Needed a new DVD writer in pre-owned reconditioned Dell SFF. Original DVD players aren't usually replaced with new ones by outlets that recondition computers and may fail sooner than later. If DVD works unit is considered good to go being a non-essential feature. But, DVD's are typically used alot and worn out by previous owners. This is BluRay and DVD, pricey but works perfectly, the only one I could find offered for 7060 SFF. No tools but your fingers are required to swap this cassette or any SSD HDD out. Power down, remove back cover then locate slide Lock-Unlock lever associated with cassette you intend to replace. Gently lift up and slide halfway out. Unplug two wire harnesses and replace with new cassette follow steps in reverse. Very happy with upgrade.
