The B&M Launch control is a good line lock. It comes with all that is required to hook it up including the switch. It works as its supposed to and had a good hold for the brakes while doing burnouts for traction or for staging on the tree. The threads are cut well unlike a certain generic brand where there was burrs in the threads. It came packaged from B&M as well as placed inside an Amazon box. Amazon did not place bubble packers in the box so it did fall out of its own box, but that's Amazon's fault. The instructions are great as it shows all possible set ups and it was easy to install only taking about an hour for a clean look. A person with lesser experience might take two to three hours too do it nicely. B&M advertises this product as a hill holder. That is not it's intended purpose, even though it would work if you can't take off from hills in a manual, I would ignore the bad review saying it doesn't work. This is not a parking brake! Saying it is a hill holder is so it can be sold and installed in some states that would view it as race use only.

Not a big deal, but the product I recieved did not have the zinc dichromate (gold) plating like the picture, it has zinc chromate (silver) plating.

Didn't come with connectors to attach to brake lines will have to figure that out. Probably better value out there if you buy a kit with connectors in it.

The product description says "it can hold you at the line until you are ready to launch, or it can hold you on a hill when you are stopped on a grade". It arrives, then reading the box, it states " hold for maximum one minute". If there was a zero, I would have selected that! Very disappointed.

Very cheap electrical switch, The product should have inverted flare inlet and outlet. Very expensive to adapt fittings.

I installed this on my 1993 motorhome to provide an emergency brake as parts for this old motorhome are no longer available. Yes I know that it isn’t supposed to be used for that but it works, I always use a wheel chock to prevent it from rolling off into the sunset (lame joke); but seriously I wired a red warning light into my dash to remind me when it’s activated, as it is wired to only stay on when the ignition is on.
