As temperatures here drop down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit or more it is imperative to have a battery blanket to conserve the loss of the battery at colder temperatures. I used this blanket on my car battery that is Gel and located in my trunk. Before the battery blanket I noticed the battery draining and battery life decreased.With the battery blanket conserves the battery.
