My school district offers staple binding on documents being printed through our print shop. It wasn't enough pages to warrant the sticky binding. I was making something we'd use every day and I was worried about them falling apart. I got these to help reinforce the books. Other than the kids taking them off to sword fight, they work great and are doing exactly what I wanted them to.

I ordered these as a last-ditch solution. I had an interview suddenly come up and needed a clean edge binding for my portfolio. I had tried to get these at my local office supply, but it seems they have nothing nowadays. I ordered these online, primarily because they would ship overnight - and they did!I stapled the pages (approx 20, plus cardstock cover and back) into place and the channels slipped right over for a near-perfect fit. They were true to size and fit an 11x17 portfolio (binding on the short edge) and would easily work for an 11x8.5 letter-sized book or portfolio too. Along the back, one of the edges is curved to make sliding them on easier.These are professional looking, though the plastic shine shows inconsistencies and small divets, but nothing that doesn't feel smooth to the touch or made me second guess my decision to buy and use for my interview. This is the only reason I give four instead of five stars.I would buy it again, but the package comes with 100 so I will have plenty of time until I need more.

They really look good and are easy to slide on the papers. They are somehow flexible. I like them.

These were suggested as a cheaper alternative to use on the edge of brand name guinea pig cage liners to discourage chewing. They were more difficult to get on and needed a little force and pliers in spots but so far the girls aren't chewing the cage edges where these are installed and I have lots extra.

I used these to make cardboard presentation boards sturdier and to protect the edges. It was a big project and I needed 96 of these, so I was VERY happy to find out the pack came with exactly 100, as described. Not one issue. The box they came in was a little crushed/falling apart, but I assume that was Amazon's doing.
