Easy to Operate :
1.Low magnification Observing specimens must be observed with a low magnification lens first because the low magnification lens has a larger field of view.
(1) Firstly, place the specimen under the objective lens, and turn the coarse adjustment wheel to make the objective lens 0.5cm away from the specimen.
(2) Then observe through the eyepiece and rotate the coarse adjustment wheel. When an object appears in the field of view, rotate the fine adjustment wheel until a clear image is obtained in the field of view. Observe the specimen, determine and move the part that needs further observation to the center of the field of view, and prepare to observe with a high magnification lens.
2. High magnification
(1) When switching the lens, you need to observe from the side to avoid collision between the lens and the glass slide.
(2) Observe through the eyepiece, and adjust the brightness of the light to a suitable range. Turn the fine adjustment wheel slightly until a clear image can be seen.
Mobile Phone Holder
The smartphone adapter makes it easier for kids to record the observations. Ideal for saving observed images to share with friends or participate in scientific presentations, etc.
Dual LED Illumination System
Two wireless LED light sources, easy to operate, not affected by external light sources. The upper light source is suitable for observing opaque objects, and the lower light source is suitable for observing transparent specimens.
Power Supply
The microscope has two power supply methods. You can install the battery(3 AA Batteries) or connect the power(220V or 110V AC Input), even if outdoor, it will not affect the usage.
Note: Do not use both power supply methods at the same time, otherwise it will easily cause damage to the microscope.

We bought the BNISE microscope as birthday present for our 1st grade granddaughter. We had her for a week this summer and the microscope was an integral part of the 'science camp' we had that week. She had a great time playing the role of researcher. The microscope is well made, sturdy, and easy to use for a 7 year old with some simple instructions. I like that it came with a form fitted carrying case that we could safely store it in, and that she could take it home in.The microscope has a top and bottom light, which makes it useful for viewing many different types of objects. The prepared slides that came with it were a good starting point. From there we collected bugs, frog eggs, various plants, and fungi to look at. Take a look at a pedal from a geranium plant, you will be amazed how beautiful it is under the microscope! I was also able to use the cell phone attachment to take some good pictures of what we were looking at.It comes with various lens to change the magnification. The higher magnifications aren't particularly useful, I think you would need a better quality microscope to see things clearly at 2000x, etc. But for the typical types of things that a youngster would look at, this microscope does a very good job. At 7 years old, it is not something she would use frequently, but it should be suitable to use for school projects well into middle school at least.

It's not a terrible beginners microscope. However, as per some other reviews, mine also came with dust sediment on the lenses. This isn't my biggest concern, I've listed those below.The attachments are very loose fitting and worst of all, the "x2" attachment required to reach half of the magnification options available to you (including x2000) is simply unusable as it causes the subject to become distorted, even when using it at a lower level of magnification. The x2 attachment can not be used on its own and has to be used in conjunction with the x10 lens or x25 lens, thus making this x2 attachment completely useless.Having said that, the only useable magnification options are as follows:(Using x10 lens attachment) x40, x100, x250(Using x25 lens attachment) x100, x250, x1000In conclusion, the only magnification levels you're going to be able to use on this is x40, x100, x250 and x1000. Everything else being advertised is empty magnification and not useable.It doesn't come with slide covers and you're only provided with 5 blank glass slides.It doesn't come with immersion oil.The extras are made of cheap soft plastic.The mobile phone adapter is also loose fitting, so obtaining a perfectly clear image of your subject is nearly impossible unless you've got a super steady hand.If I had known all of this before purchasing, I would have gone with a different microscope. I'm considering gifting this to my 3 year old niece to use when she's a little older, maybe I can get her into science so the purchase isn't a complete loss

My kids liked it and educational for kids it comes with plenty numbers of samples and accessories. What I don’t like about this Microscope is it’s not handy, you always need to plug it in and the cable is short.

I purchased this to solve the question as to why my Koi fish were dying. I am glad to say it was easy to use and help me find the culprit parasite.The case is very nice and sturdy for storage with plenty of room to store an extra box of glass slides. The microscope itself is light and nice to move around with it yet substantial and sturdy enough to not feel like a toy. I am absolutely happy with my purchase and have recommended to other koi enthusiasts.

I purchased this microscope for my 6th grade science class since we don't have one and the one that was loaned to us didn't do a very good job. I read through pages and pages of products and reviews when I came across this microscope. I knew that I needed it to have at least 400x in order to see blood cells. I ordered on Thursday and it just came in today, Saturday. So it arrived in 2 days. As soon as it was delivered I opened it and went to using it to be able to get used to it before class next week. My entire family looked at the included slides, there are like 10 prepared slides if I remember correctly, and the slides for my upcoming lessons. We were able to see so clear all of the different details on each specimen. The course focus is a bit stiff, but I literally just got it. The fine focus was so easy to adjust. I was even able to look at a piece of my own hair and a flake of skin of my own. It was super cool. I can't wait to see how much my students enjoy looking at things under this microscope.

My 9 year old saved his allowance up to buy this scope. It's easy and fun to use. He's thrilled.About a week after we received it, my husband started showing very itchy rash on his legs. We were able to collet a sample from his calf and determine that it was caused by chiggers (see pic). What a cool scene use in everyday life. We also purchased Ushborne book for kid microscope user and that made our enjoyment even better.

This is a great small, and portable microscope. It is very lightweight and small enough to fun on a shelf. It is the perfect size for a child; my kid is 7 and it's the perfect size. We love it and have been able to use it to look at so many slides and bugs.

Reviewed by a retired physician. Bought this for my granddaughter’s 7th birthday. I was very surprised by the hefty construction and good design and manufacturing quality. Usually at this price point you get a useless plastic toy, but this one is cast metal, and has not bad optics, and reasonably well functioning focussing, as well as more than adequate light source. My son has training as a lab physician, and also concurs with my evaluation. Very handy zippered case and comes with a nice selection of pre stained prepared specimen slides. Very happy with this purchase!

Fun science activities , seems decent for the price minus we did have a broken glass plate for examin thing in the kit and the and the petri dish was cracked on few places...surprisingly cause it came on a super nice case and was well packed so that's a bit sad!!
