I'm really pleased with this bassoon. It has even intonation throughout, solid keywork and good rollers. Easily compares to the renard I played in college. This bassoon is worth every penny. It comes from China in a cardboard box. The case is good quality and protects it well. No need to upgrade the case. Had trouble finding the bocals when I first opened the instrument. They're in pillows in the outer pocket. Only came with one really poor quality reed. So definitely need to invest in reeds or reed making. It does not come with a wing joint swab. Very important so definitely get one before your bassoon arrived. Comes with neck strap. No seat strap

Sounds like it costs more than it dd. I haven't played bassoon for 12 years and am happy to have bought this at an affordable price to re-learn and practice with. A good FOX will be next, but maybe a decade from now.

This bassoon is really awesome, even though it’s a “cheap†instrument among bassoons, this instrument really give me surprise. You will see the whisper key and locker key which make your playing more easier. It sounds good, really recommend.
