Bought stemless wine glasses and realized I did not have a way to help friends know which glass was there’s. These work great for this issue!

The item seems fine but the magnet is only strong enough for thin glass like a wine glass but much more precarious with a thicker glass like a water cup. Also the surface is flat which doesn't really inspire confidence for curved glass vessels.Be careful with the packaging! When I was cutting open the opaque packaging, the first thing I did was stick my scissors into the little storage pouch they provide and slice off the bottom. The material on that felt pretty cheap anyways so it's no loss, I'll just keep the items in a small Tupperware.I'll be looking out for how quickly this item rusts.

These wine charms are a great addition to my drinkware. With 12 colorful crystal designs, they make it easy to identify glasses at parties. But some of colors are so close that makes people confused (eg. pink and light purple). The magnetic feature keeps them securely attached, adding a nice touch whether I'm hosting or enjoying a drink at home. Great for any occasion! However, some stones have fallen off from the magnets in such a short time. So for durability and quality I wouldn’t recommend.

So, these are small roughly 6.2 mm or ¼” OD little faceted charms that can be attached to a glass via the supplied magnet. Provided in 12 colors this will allow people to distinguish their glass from another person’s glass. Or at least in theory. I find that several of the colors are relatively color to each other and it may be difficult or near impossible to distinguish them from a reasonable distance. Clearly, anyone with any degree of color blindness will have more of an issue, but YMMV.(The pictures are from the product page, from my house with indoor lighting and my house with flash on for the camera)The charms attach via an include magnet: the only issue here is that the overall thickness (6 mm or just under ¼”) means that the glass will need a steeper/more cupped base if they are placed on the foot of the glass. I do not recommend placing them on the drinking surface as I am not sure that the magnets will survive long-term exposure to alcoholic beverage or even non-alcoholic beverages. This is because the colored portion of the charm is glued to an additional magnet. That two (2) magnets are used is a good thing as it ensures a firm grip on the glass, but glues are notoriously finicky with many liquids, and I sure wouldn’t want to swallow one of the faceted charm pieces. Granted, the magnet would stay beyond; but still, yet, and even. If you are sufficiently careful, it should be possible to place the charm on the lip of the glass, but it could still be am issue – the base seems are better location. The overall thickness is also a concern. When I tried them on one of my cut crystal flutes I have, it was clear that the charm had to be closer to the stem in order for the flute to sit flat on the tabletop. Nearer the edge it tilted the glass a small amount. That is simply a recipe for trouble. Fortunately, on a clean base the bottom magnet was pushed upward so that it wasn’t touching the tabletop dragging the charm with it most of the way when I pressed down on the glass. Placing it closer to the stem avoided that problem completely and it would probably be far enough way from the stem proper that it is unlikely to be knocked off.The small pouch is nice for storing the charms when not in use, but is really too big if they are bound to the card they are shipped on; otherwise they size to each other in a very small clump.[Note]: as with all magnets, there is a “top” and “bottom” when applied to another magnet. You need to make sure the top and bottom line up of the magnet will only hold the charm be the very edge; which is very tenuous at best.
