I needed the baster for upcoming holidays. This package had 2 basters, plus brushes and a basting brush. The basting brush may be usable, but it is flimsy. The cleaning brushes will be handy; however, the bulb squeezers could have been larger.

Non-conventional use review.I don't know about heat resistance because I bought these to administer cold liquids to a disabled person; very good for my purposes.Really like being able to disassemble for cleaning and that you get 2 brushes. I haven't used the Silicon brush but I think it'll be fine for brushing the powder from crushed meds into a glass.

It won't blow you away or disappoint you. It is a basic set of basting tools. Works as expected, no surprises, good or bad. Kitchen aid quality stuff, not chef-quality or bargain quality. So perfectly fine for 95% of people.

Initially I just got this because it meant I could give one to my 2 year old to play with a d still have one to baste the Turkey on thanksgiving. Turns out for nearly the same price as a grocery store pickup, it is actually nicer, comes with cleaning aids, and my son gets to run around the house with one at the same time. Win win

Because one split up the side mid-Thanksgiving cooking.. both worked fine until one split. No picture as it wasn’t my biggest concern while cooking, and it may have been from hot liquids while cooking a turkey, but was disappointed that it only was used for maybe 15 minutes total before it split. Second baster still working fine and got me through the rest of cooking the meal, but wouldn’t be a product I would purchase from this brand again.

Used for the first time and pretty much useless as the tip melts in the oil and deforms the baster so that doesn't pick up any oil. Needed a plastic that would withstand the heat not this stuff.
