I asked if this was solid fiberglass, and the Amazon AI generated that the reply: YES, it is solid fiberglass and is mesh-veiled to prevent splintering. I purchased as I needed a strong solid 1" diameter handle. It arrived and since I did not need the threaded end, I hacksawed the threaded end off and guess what. IT IS A HOLLOW TUBE! I was tempted to take the cut off threaded end and throw it back in the bag with the hollow tube and return it due to false information but I decided to fill the hollow end with JB Weld so I can bolt on the end rake attachment and use it. If Amazon AI replies with an answer, then I would just contact the manufacturer prior to making the purchase and wasting your money and time!

After buying a wood broom handle at the hardware store I had to get something more substantial and straight. The wood handle was not thick enough and it warped. The fiberglass handle is straight, thick enough to get a grip on and will last forever.

The handle comes with a plastic screw-in end which is clearly shown in the description page. However, it also comes with a squared plastic end with an opening to hang it up in a closet or on a wall, which is not shown. It is not suitable for comfortably pushing as you would with a rounded handle resting in the palm of your hand. I already see one review complaining it is not durable. I'll update this review if there is any problem with either end breaking.
