- Stand the pontoon boat cover support system in the middle of the boat, pass the straps through the top, and hook the hooks at one ends of the straps to the hull. It applicants runabout, v-hull, and pontoon, etc. Note: the extra-large pontoon boat needs two support poles.
- 2 poles at least is highly recommended if your boat or pontoon length is longer than 24 foot, just install the boat cover support poles between the bow and the middle.
- They can be adjusted to the height you want. A good base and top can help disperse the load and protect the cover from stress tearing.
- Works great as a pontoon cover support,boat tarp support,boat canvas pole support and boat cover poles.

Not super adjustable height wise but worked well to help keep water puddles forming on the cover of my Tracker V16. Straps were plenty long enough. Sturdy once installed.

I liked that the assembly was easy I used both for my 16.5 fishing boat, , my only concern I have is if the base and top will survive the harsh Michigan winters, the plastic base and top look not to be thick and strong enough, I would feel better if both were made of strong heavier material, but will see as winter approaches

I put these under my quality boat cover and we will see what happens when the rainy season starts. they seem well built and I like the way the straps connect with the stainless steel hook and the three connectors on the base.

The disappointing product, as its design base is so small that it will collapse as long as the wind blows over it, I have to guard it all the time, which is a joke. Its tube was so thin that it broke on the first night and I had to throw it away! I suspect its assessment is bogus and I've been duped!

Bought this for 22 ft pontoon boat. The setup was pretty easy and seems very strong as long as the straps are webbed out and very tight. It came with 2 plastic round bags with hole in the centre that you put water in then slide over the poles to sit on the base for added weight. I don’t think I will need them since the straps are positioned correctly. If I find that I need them, I think I would use a couple of dumbbell weights with the holes in the centre to slide over poles. I originally thought that the poles were telescopic which I would have preferred but each pole system comes with 4 poles for different heights.

I have a Lund 1600 Fury SS. As it says, it's a 16ft 2" boat.What I expected: An infinitely variable height (Via compression fitting) adjustable unitWhat I got: 5 "set" height piecesThe issue: If the height you need is and "just" less than the units used to screw together, you'll need to cut one to size with a hacksaw.It was frustrating
