It is a bit better than your standard bobbin case. It seems sturdy enough and has plenty of room. It does not come with bobbins, though, so don't be expecting them.

This product is all pros, no cons. These are a great product for a good price. The foam in the boxes holds my bobbins securely, no more sliding around and getting threads tangled or unraveled. Because the foam reaches partway up the bobbin it is easy to remove them. It is easy to see your thread color and the boxes latch securely. Even if I forget to latch them the bobbins do not slip out of the foam. I'm going to use the boxes to separate the types of thread - mercerized cotton, polyester, blends, etc. I'm definitely going to add a few more boxes as I have a large number of different color and type threads. Excellent product to keep you organized.

I expected the base to be silicone, but it’s foam. It holds the bobbins in well but needs to be held down when removing the bobbins. Good value for the price.

I needed a case to store my metal bobbins for my multi needle embroidery machine. I have 4 different brands of sewing machines and 3 of the bobbins are completely different so I needed a way to store my multi needle embroidery machines bobbins. Theses cases fit the metal bobbins perfectly.

I am having a hard time keeping the thread for each bobbin together. It keeps me organize. It is easy to see which color is in the box before opening it which I like. The box is solid. I am using it to hold my bobbins and it works for me.

These are great bobbin containers. I have a scrunchie business, and just recently got an embroidery machine so these containers work great!! Lots of room, and no more bobbins rolling around and getting lost!

Love these bobbin holders. So much better than having my bobbins loose in my sewing bags. It was great that they went on sale for Black Friday. I was happy to buy some for myself, and then extras for me to give away to my friends for Christmas!

This would be a perfect bobbin case if the hinges were more substantial. One broke within a few times of use. The closure on the front doesn’t work as well as expected either and keeps popping open.
