Someone in the office had been taping the end back on the old one for a while. I finally got the round tuits to check and see if I could get a replacement. SO much better and works great!

These spindles work just fine but we've had two stolen in the last two months (never had a problem with anyone stealing these from our gym in almost 7 years in business). We use the hardware these are designed for, as well. While the company claims theft resistance, if someone has a safety pin or a paper clip, they will be able to release the pin and steal the spindle. Not sure why someone would want to steal this spindle but apparently people do. I'm not sure what makes these "theft resistant" but they can be stolen rather easily with simple tools.

Fits just like to original and has been working just fine.The price was right so I ordered two, one as a spare. we have 4 stations where these are used in our facility.
