Works great and holds lots of plates. I'm really happy that I got a plate tree that has the pipes to hold both of my bars. It adds a pleasant sense of organization to my weight area that I wasn't expecting. It's nice to walk into a room and everything just has it's place. Frankly I'm surprised commercial gyms don't have upright bar holders. It's a classy touch that keeps everything off the ground.The rack is sturdy and easy enough to assemble if you have the tools.The only negative I can think of is it came with two jars of touch up paint but they were both completely dried out and crusted over by the time I got it. It must have been sitting in a warehouse for quite a while before it got to me. I don't really care that the touch up paint was dried out but if you do it's something to think about.P.S. Just a friendly reminder that this is for standard plates and bars. If you have olympic style plates you'll need a different rack if you want to store your bars in the vertical pipes on the base.

We're outfitting our new home gym and needed a rack to store our plates and barbells. After much research and comparisons this one was not only the best quality but also the best price.Very sturdy unit. Solid construction. I'm sure this will securely hold plates and not tip when removing them. It also LOOKS very stylish, almost architectural loaded with our plates and bars. Not some hunk of steel you'd find in a commercial gym.This item for standard plates (about 1" diameter barbell) not the Olympic plates. It would hold Olympic plates but the Olympic barbell wold not fit in the stand.I found that the two upper storage rods are close together. 10# plates placed on both the top and middle rod will not fit. That top bar would really need to be for smaller plates, unless you creatively stack them on opposite sides.Construction was very easy, only a few screws to put in. The instructions were essentially a diagram of where the screws go, but simple enough for most to figure out. The plastic footpads and end pieces are a very tight fit; you'll need a hammer to get them in.Overall very pleased with this unit. In fact, I'm going to use Body Solid products for my other gym items too. I've got some med ball racks and a dumbbell rack coming.

Solid construction. Great solution for keeping my weights neet, organized, and out of the way. The only thing is is may wobble a bit if your not putting weights on it and only using the bar storage. It's not wobbly in a Dan heroes way like its going to topple over. It's wobbly in an annoying way in that every time I would walk past I would here the feet one corner hit the floor because it wasn't level with the floor. I played around with it and got it to level out with the floor, and also found that jut stacking the weights was enough to do the trick too.

This device is very sturdy. Assembly took me like 30 minutes, and I really like the fact that it can hold 2 bars. I use it for my bench press bar and for my triceps bar of 1" and it fits awesome. The only thing that I recommend during assembly is that, once you get to the 6 weight holders, the little plastic caps are hard to insert, so use a hammer for it.

I bought this plate tree because I thought it would take up less floor space than the inverted "v" (Christmas tree) type of plate tree. And I was right. Not only does it take up less floor space, but it's also taller and holds many more weight plates than the standard type. And taller means less bending. The tree is also well built and has a stable base. It was also a cinch to put together in 10 minutes.

Tardé en decidirme a pedirlo porque lo veÃa algo caro comparado con artÃculos similares, pero en cuanto lo monté y vi la calidad de los acabados, lo estable y lo sólido que es, se disiparon mis dudas. Es además recomendable por el poco sitio que ocupa para el servicio que da (comparado con otros), pensando que en un gimnasio casero no suele sobrar mucho espacio.En definitiva, que si alguien duda entre tener el material apilado en el suelo o colocado en uno de estos soportes, mi recomendación es que no lo dude. Tiene aspecto de durar mucho tiempo sin deteriorarse.

Produit "presque" parfait.Pourquoi ? Pour pinailler, il manque juste deux emplacements pour poser/ranger deux altères courts : deux petites demi-lunes sur chaque pied par exemple, pour les poser à plats (sans poids), comme sur la photo. Il va falloir que je bricole un truc.Sinon, c'est ce que je recherchais : stable, ne prend pas beaucoup de place, plutôt bien fini.Il y a même deux petits flacons de peinture pour réparer d'éventuelles rayures !!Conseil de montage : je recommande de ne serrer les 4 vis A1X2 qui tiennent les deux "pieds" qu'une fois le support en charge. Comme ça, l'arbre sera bien à plat et se mettra de niveau tout seul.
