If you’re looking for short and sweet? 5stars, highly recommended. If you’re interested as to why? Let me explain in detail with over 10years of experience. How is that possible ? I’m heavily invested in Kayak fishing. Back in 2013-2015 sit on top “kayaks” was being very popular. How does this relate? This is by definition a kayak style chair but with a spin on things no pun intended. New Kayak chairs are starting to have 360 swivel. As someone who has spent countless hours fishing out this type of chair day in and out. I can tell you with confidence what is expected. First the mesh material will last you 3-5years if left complete exposure to the environment. Minus that if rats or squirrels get it obviously. I wouldn’t recommend leaving it in the full sun day after day for years. With proper care you’ll have the same results as I. I still have all my first generation chairs still good as new 10years later. The metal hardware seems very durable, and tons of adjustments. After a few hours playing in this chair. i can tell you it’s extremely quiet. And compatible with all my kayak upgrade accessories like caddies, cup holders, gear packs and so on. You can make this chair a lot more versatile than it’s intended design with kayak accessories. Like lumbar support, reclining that’s right with kayak seat straps you can use to make this recliner or sit further forward. Very fast adjustable straps are the best option for this chair to improve comfort. You can also use kayak cushions that’s designed specifically for these types of chairs. As far as it’s functionality it’s rock solid and you can manipulate the seat and the arm like your playing a video game. If you have ever hunted and had your game come in from a different angle or direction and couldn’t move to get your rifle on target in time, you’d understand how important that it is to be able to spin around and take the shot. Where this chair shines is when you take the kiddos hunting and you wanna let them have as much control as possible without risking safety. This makes for the safest option I’ve seen yet. Bi/tri pods can fall over. Propping the firearm can cause smaller kiddos to skin up the rifle, make a ton of noise or drop the weapon. This chair is by far the easiest way to hunt for small children. It is a full size adult chair I was thinking it would be smaller but it’s full size. It’s a bit on the heavier side made most of heavy metals. I’d like to see a all aluminum version to reduce weight. And just over all small package design with a smaller chair. I don’t need anything rated for 500lbs. You wouldn’t wanna have to drag it in and out of the woods daily. If so you’ll wanna get a backpack and some straps to make it easier to carry on your back. Bottom line 5stars for this setup. And if price is a factor consider that most kayak/ camping chairs without the swiveling seat or arm cost as much and a lot more. Your getting a good price for everything you’re getting.

After much research, found this for my husband's deer stand. He was very happy that it was easy to assemble, sturdy and quiet. The gun rest is awesome although like others said, you must position it properly to keep the chair from tipping over when you're not sitting in it. Easy enough. Also, the swivel feature gave him full range of motion, is adjustable (as us the gun rest) and quiet. Made his hunt enjoyable and comfortable at age 67. Highly recommend this product.

I gave this chair 5 Stars, finally doing a review on the chair while using it for last 3 hunting seasons.Very quiet/comfortable 360 chair with death grip holder. Very sturdy until you get up, the chair will tip over. So make Sure you remove weapon from the death grip.My only 3 gripes is 1- Wish the chair went lower. Being a tall guy 6’3” with a long torso, hard to see out of any blinds. I have to lean over a bit. 2-Wish the chair would not fall over when the death grip is loaded. 3-The back of the seat leans back some, which means more comfortable naps while hunting..Still A 5 Star Chair…

Think is awesome. Used for sighing in my 30.06 and AR15 Takes the human of sighting in a rifle at 100yards. The revies about being unbalanced are true. If you are not sitting in it, it is unbalanced. Not unexpected, just need to be aware.

Very comfortable. you can adjust the boom any way you want. it clamps down really well on rifles. easy to put together. swivels 360. only downside is there's no counter stand to get up and leave your rifle in the grip, it would tip the chair over.

Used chair for 2 weeks straight as home office chair to test comfort prior to hunting season. Looks/feels like a high-end mesh office chair. Very sturdy and generally comfortable, but mesh is pretty firm so butt does begin to get sore after sitting for 8+ hrs... which is to be expected.Gun mount itself is very sturdy & rigid, but there's a little slop where it clamps around the shaft that the seat rotates about resulting in a little bit of play/wobble. Using one hand to stabilize the mount will allow you to hold sight on a 1" target at 50 yards. Seems to work better than using that hand to hold the barrel. The ends of the chair legs are very wide to keep from sinking into soft peet, but resting on a more solid surface would certainly help keep the gun more stable. Mount will hold gun in any position and you can quickly loosen any joint to articulate it to your hearts desire. But caution, the mount weigh the same as the chair (about 11 lbs each), so when you're not sitting, you need to rotate the mount/gun over the chair to keep it from toppling over... or hang a counterbalance on the other side of the chair. I plan on 3D printing a fold up table to hang off the opposite side of the chair with hooks to hang my lunch bag and binos. Mount rotates 360 deg so works for right or left handed shooters. The reason I said this is "nearly perfect" is although it's functionally perfect, it's a bit too heavy to be hauling too far into the woods. It does have a built-in/attached bag for holding the chair legs, but there's no attachments to hold the mount. I did figure out a way to carry the mount inside the chair base and bought a shoulder harness for it, but would be better if these features were built-in like in the Caldwell Chair Pod (P.S. I think the DeathGrip concept works better). But the real reason for deducting 1 star is that after about a week of daily usage, I noticed the chair began to squeak when I sat back into the chair back as well as when rotating the chair. Turns out both the shaft on the chair seat as well as the collar on the legs that the shaft slides into to rotate are both made of hard plastic. I noticed plastic dust was wearing off around the shaft which I'm suspecting is acting like resin and gripping. After lubricating both the shaft and the seat back hinges, the chair was completely silent again (been over a week of continuous office use as well as 4 days of hunting in the cold). If you want a comfortable hunting chair with integrated gun mount, you will be very happy with this and is actually cheaper than a separately purchased quality chair with quality shooting sticks. Just be aware, all that sturdiness comes at a cost of weight.

The chair is ez to set up. And gives great back support. It is very tipsy with the arm out. Mounting it to a pice of plywood mad it extremely stable.
