I will start off by saying I am VERY picky about drinking water. Ideally I prefer Fiji water but who can afford to drink that everyday? The next best thing was Nestle Pur but I didn't like having to go buy more jugs each time I ran out. I finally got a Pur filter which was pretty good but he prices of those replacement filters has gotten quite high. I know if you did the math that the price per gallon wouldn't be any more than buying the actual bottled water but the sticker shock I see each time I go to the store and it's $17 for ONE filter and then $45 for 3.I tried a couple of other third party replacement filters but the water tasted about the same as drinking out of the faucet or it actually tasted strange in a pretty bad way.Since this was through Vine I decided to give these a try and amazingly I am pleasantly surprised. Now, these still don't taste anywhere as good as Fiji water or the actual Pur brand filters but they come pretty close. The water doesn't have that chlorinated/chemical taste a lot of tap water does where I live.When you install a fresh filter follow the same instructions of running water through it for five minutes the first time you use it and then you're good. The first time is a bit scary cause unlike Pur filters the first burst of water was black from the charcoal but it cleared up in about 5 seconds so it's just the standard saturate and flush the filter with water before drinking it. So far I have had it for about two weeks and while I do miss better tasting water these will do the job without breaking the bank.

I've been using PUR water filter mounts for probably 20 years now, and I always bought the brand name refills. When I saw these on Vine I thought I'd give them a try, knowing that if they didn't work I'd just buy PUR and write the appropriate review.Well, I'm really happy to say that these are just as good as the PUR brand filters. They fit the faucet mount perfectly and my water tastes just as good as with the name brand filters. The packaging was intact, and the individual foil wrappings in perfect condition. I'm so happy with these that when I run out I'll definitely be buying this brand from now on. I absolutely recommend them.

These filters do not work at all. They didn't even come in individual boxes like shown in all the review pictures but came in a brown unlabeled box. When I tried to replace the filter right away you feel how light it us compared to the real purr filters and once installed you see that it's not filtering because the water comes out very fast instead of slow like the original filters. This product is a rip off I wouldn't trust it to my family to filter lead out of the water.
