Save some money and do your own fletching. Invest in a great jig and buy bare shafts. If you don’t have a arrow cutter buy them pre cut. You have the ability create and repair your own arrows and not have to drive to the archery shop for such a easy task.As for the white blazers, they are advertised. White. Great as a index fletching. Pre prepped, and ready to be glued on. Use alcohol to clean arrow surface then glue on.They fly great in comparison to a lot of other designs. Very dependable. Great value for the money. Durability depends on fletching glue and how close your other arrows hit and the depth of penetration into the target. I’ve never seen a blazer actually tear in anyway.

My carbon recurve arrows needed to be refletched, but I couldn't afford feathers. These vanes had the right weight, though, and I don't want anything over 3 inches, so I gave 'em a try. I was worried that the vertical profile would thrash against my rest and not have the "give" of feathers, but it wasn't a problem at all. These performed well with one minor caviat. The carbon shafts need to be gently roughened before ahdering the vanes. I had about 12% detach after multiple shots. Since the cement I used is 100% on the vanes, and patchy on the devaned shafts, I know it's not the vanes fault. Prep those shafts well, and you won't have to refletch like I have to.These vanes look sharp, flex well, but stand tall shot after shot. My arrows flew true, and looked darn good, but I'd'a been happy with just the first.

These vanes are very light and work well in 3 fletch and 4 fletch

Blazer vanes are by far my favorite. They're a bit sturdier than what typically comes on my carbon arrows and hold up for longer. I use a Whisker Biscuit rest, which can be fairly rough on the vanes of my arrows, but these vanes hold up much better than anything I have used. They're easy to apply with a bit of Bohning vane glue and I didn't feel that it wasn't necessary to use a jig to apply them with a steady hand and a good eye. I do recommend these vanes to anyone looking for replacements or new vanes on their carbon arrows.

A lot of vanes out there and I’ve used many of them. Was nice to go back to the classic blazer for this season. They’re popular for a reason…
