This bolo tie is amazing - I actually bought it for a bachelorette in Austin, TX, but I see myself getting more use out of it like Halloween or themed parties. It is substantial in weight but not so much so that it would hurt your neck, more so that if you swung it around, you'd have little cowboy boots delivering nice little kicks to your torso. I have also fashioned it as a belt (not a functional one, for looks) and think this was definitely a great buy.

The lanyard part is a nice leather braid. The cowboy hat and boots are heavy pieces and it sits well. Very good quality for the price.
