I bought these to store in case of electric outtages caused by storms. I have used these before and they last long and I think would be great to use to read by or play games with the kids to pass the time. Better to be safe than sorry sitting in the dark!

I have been purchasing these same candles for many years, in all different sizes and they are true to their description. They burn for more hours than others I've tried and they do not drip! (unless you place them under a fan or perhaps outside on a windy day!) I like the white and the off-white. The white is true white and the off-white does not look yellow.

These are the best candles, I reorder a box every year! This year they were shipped in a plastic bag instead of a box and every candle was broken. I need them now so not returning and just using them broken. 3 stars for poor shipping.

I use these candles in a vintage lamp that I can't get the original candles anymore and there work just as good.
