Bought two for our backfoor entryway - one for us and one for the kids. Love it! Spacious, sturdy (we placed it in a carpetted area), and nice to look at. My father-in-law is now . considering it for their house. Not too terrible to put together. I'm 5'2" and do a medium amount of cardio and not a whole lot of weight-lifting and it took me about 2 hrs to put one together.

I must have looked at 500 hall trees before settling on this one. The previous one we had included a bottom storage area that we no longer needed (new furniture has a storage compartment for blankets). I love this hall tree. My 7 yo daughter and I assembled all by ourselves. Tons of room for backpacks, shoes, hats, purses and I love the shelves. My only issue was that the first one we ordered never arrived. Amazon refunding my $$ and the replacement arrived within days. I would recommend this hall tree. Ton's of room for all the things, easily to assemble and affordable. Oh...it's very sturdy too! I have no concerns of it being top heavy, or falling over.

The finished project is gorgeous! It took my husband and I about two hours to put together. The included instructions were very specific and clear. The shelves can be put on either side of the unit (personal preference) and there are instructions for both options. I have an adult sized jacket hanging up and feel the height of the hooks are perfect. The unit is right behind our front door. We use it to organize backpacks, bags and jackets and have gloves and scarves in the basket (I added) on the bottom. I put peel and stick tiles on the wall behind the unit to make it look more finished in our living space. The hooks might need to be upgraded since they are not the best quality (as other reviewers indicated) but that is an easy fix if necessary. We also added touch lights under the top shelf for convenience. We love the look and quality of the shelving unit and are pleased with the purchase!

Assembly was easy, and it didn't take too long- maybe and hour and a half. I like the look and it seems sturdy.

I bought this because it looked sturdy for the price and has a good amount of storage. I love the way it came out. I like that there are hooks on the back for flatter items like jackets and hanging hooks for bulkier items like backpacks. I also like that you can choose to put the shelves either on the left or the right side.The assembly is annoying, but not difficult. They recommend 2 people, but I was able to do it myself. The instructions remind you every step along the way not to tighten any screws until the entire thing is assembled. I followed the instructions and didn't have any difficulty getting everything to line up. Most of the screws are going into metal, and the allen wrench provided isn't a great fit, so it made the assembly annoying, but again not difficult to follow. The "screwdriver" provided is terrible, so just use your own.It would be nice if the legs came with adjustable feet, as I'm going to need to shim 1 leg to have it sit flat. Having small children who climb everything, I am glad that it comes with anti tip straps.

It looks great and is definitely extremely sturdy and holds a lot of weight. It was easy enough to assemble as long as you follow the directions and everything was clearly marked. It was a lot shorter than I thought, my hoodie hangs on the bench while hooked and Im not a fan of how small the shelves are but over all it's a really nice hall tree for my apartment and seems to hold a lot. I would definitely recommend it.I will say the mini screw driver that comes with it to attach the hooks is horrible, save yourself the arm pain and just use a regular Phillips screwdriver and it'll be so much quicker and easier
