EASY TO USE
1. Insert the wedge-shaped CV axle fork between the transaxle housing and the shaft joint.
2. Tap the end of the front fork with the hammer.
3. Insert the dummy gasket front fork and use it as a pry bar to loosen the half shaft.
4. Remove the half shaft from the transaxle of the front-wheel drive vehicle.

I have replaced numerous CV axles on my Polaris Ranger, and it's a pain in the butt each time. This tool made it very simple to pop it out of the differential and it took less than a minute. Great addition to my toolbox.

This is exactly what we needed for those stubborn CV axles. A lot of persuasion is sometimes required to overcome the "hog ring" that is keeping the CV axle in the trans.

Can you take a CV Axle off without this tool? Sure, sometimes it's cake and sometimes it's not. This tool makes it cake everytime and well worth the 25 bucks! Can't believe I've went this long without this tool.

I wasn't sure I would need these, but was very happy to have them when I was unable to get the axle assembly out of the transmission. These made the job much easier and allowed me to get the axle out without causing any damage to the transmission housing. Use the narrower tool to get the dust seal separated and then the larger tool to finish the job and pop the axle assembly out. Delivery to Canada was quick as well. It was delivered within three days of ordering.

I love it. used on a changes front and rear Cv axle on jeep compass 2008. Less than minutes get it out without damage your Cv axle shaft. Recommend to use worth of money

I would have normally rented from Canadian tire or part source but they no longer do so. $ 40 here on Amazon why not, a must for removing cv axles. Don't hesitate if your looking for this tool A+
