I got this for a mahogany fender CD-60S since it was the same fully compensated style saddle, and was nearly identical in size spec. I checked the MacNichols website to be sure. Only the radius was different by 4 degrees, but this was acceptable to me.The quality is outstanding. It is precision cut. The consistency of the material is apparent when you shine a bright light through it and when you sand it, and you can hear and feel the difference from a plastic one. It is so much better than my previous bone saddle from a generic company. The radius was not an issue and the string heights were where I wanted them after sanding. It also match the bone pins I already had.Out of the box it fit, but was pretty tight and high as with most new saddles. I was able to use the sandpaper that came with it, which was very convenient, and easily filed it down to the proper height. I sanded out the thickness a bit for a less tight fit. It sounds amazing, night and day compared to the stock plastic pins and saddle and makes this throw away beach/camping guitar really sing and project. Fender would sell more of these solid top guitars if they just upgraded the saddle and pins to bone to get max transfer to the sound board.I will probably buy a spare and buy one for my Taylor which current has a stock tusq saddle just to try it, even though I understand bone saddles and Taylors get more trebly sound, which it certainly doesn’t need.Happy purchase.
