I took a chance on this due to the fact that there were no reviews as of yet and not many pictures either. First the build quality when comparing to other brands that I looked into at local stores. Build quality looks to be on par with other name brands..The size is deceiving, from the pictures it doesn’t look like it will hold a large pan but I tested it using a 13 inch frying pan and a 12 inch cast iron pan and both of them fit perfectly with plenty of space around each . (Not at the same time of course) From the pictures you would think that removing the lid would be necessary but it is not.So the pros are:1. Very well built and sturdy2. Thick stainless steel3. Heats up very quickly4. Great size. Will hold a 12 inch cast iron with no problem.It’s not perfect and here are the things I think would make it better..1. Even though it heats up great, I think that if the grate was lowered by 0.5 to 1 inch to the burner, it would heat up much faster and get much hotter, closer to the temp needed for wok cooking!!!2. The knob doesn’t have a stopper from MAX to OFF.. Therefore when you are trying to adjust the temp back up to max power be careful not to turn it off, turning it back on is not a problem, but if you are not careful and are doing other things, you could turn it off and not know it’s off. It happened to me a few times.The nice to have option which I will have to order from another brand is a cover for it. Mostly because I will have it exposed to the south FL elements, I want to have it covered when not in use.Also, it does not come with the tank valve.All in all it was a great purchase for the price. I plan to get lots of use out of this thing and I know it’s going to make my outdoor kitchen look amazing when I complete my build. I highly recommend it as of now..

I bought this for my new house we were building. We moved in May 25, 2022. This is not even 4 months of use. Defective lines and connections. It caught fire underneath. I found out when the trim melted and started burning. The knob was burning hot. Killed the gas feed to it. I have reached out to Bonfire customer service. I will update with how they take care of it.UPDATE! Customer service got back to me. They were very understanding and sympathetic. They arranged a new one to be shipped to me. I have received it, and installed it in my outdoor kitchen. It’s working great! Very satisfied.

this is the second one I have bought and installed. This one the ignition does not work. You have to use a lighter which is dangerous to light. The quality of the product is great but don't they test before sending out. I am not happy.

Loosk sturdy for outdoor.. and met expectations on BTU and heat for outdoor cooking.. the screws and bolt for one side for the top cover to connect the base were missing and the openings of the base where the screws for top cover go are bended... as per the contractor who installed it... thats why rated 3 apart from that product is great

Great side burner. My unit is fired by Natural Gas. Enough heat generated for wok frying. The unit made out of quality materials. The control knob feels solid and it looks like my high end built in BBQ.

Works fine and fits great but just be aware that the gas hose provided is a 3/8 with quick connect so will not work with natural gas fittings. and you probably need to change the orfice or use a small pin drill to make it bigger
