I absolutely love this product!! I looked at other standing desk products and selected this one because it looked sturdy, was a podium style (which takes less room) adjustable and was very reasonably priced. I was disappointed when they promised a 3 week delivery BUT it arrived in 3-4 days. Amazing. Its heavy and the 2 bar brace at the bottom allows me to rest one foot and it also adds to the sturdiness. I am 5.5 so wanted something adjustable. It stands in my TV room so I have less of an excuse to sit while writing or using my computer. It rolls easily and the wheels lock if needed. Assembly is not hard but it does take a little time and the pieces are a little heavy..but not awful. I also liked the guarantee and felt confident that if I did not like the product it could be returned. I will be throwing out the box because this podium/desk is a keeper. I usually don't review products or just rate delivery but I am really excited about this product. Highly recommended.

We purchased the lectern to use for a portable stand for a heavy dictionary. Before purchase, we had asked the Amazon community about using this for a dictionary stand, and everyone who responded said "no problem". And they were all quite correct. The assembly directions were abbreviated but adequate. All the pieces were nicely machined and well painted or well covered with faux wood. The completed unit is sturdy, rolls well, and doesn't roll at all when the wheels locks are engaged. The height adjusted nicely for our purpose. We attached a photograph. By the way, the very good dictionary you see on top of the "dictionary stand" is ISBN-13 # 978-0195392883, which we had also purchase from Amazon.

For people who WFH full time from the pandemic, this is a good option if you're in a similar situation:* Space saving: I need to have a table for work while be with the toddlers in the living room. This fits in the limited space, it can move around, and they have my presence and I can easily see what they're doing (safety, etc).* The construction is sturdy, I can have heavier items like chargers, coffee mug, water bottle in the mid support section, and my laptop at the top.* The front board hides all the messy stuff I put in the mid section, eliminating visual clutter. In that regard, I wish the top piece and the wheels are also painted white to blend into the environment.

Pros: Holes were reinforced with inserts. Instructions was very informative and well illustrated. All metal, hardly any plastics. Well painted. Excellent shelves. Fantastic height availability. Portability. Big knobs to tighten down stand. Video shows how its put together before buy! Decent tool included to tighten screws down.Cons: Screws to hold book plate in place were too small. Hard screwing in place. Could of used another hole at the bottom of the stand to lower it even more.Use Of: Dictionary stand, book and drawing stand to refer to when typing.Overall View: Well Engineered and Thought Out!!

The lecture arrived tonight so I just finished putting it together. The box weighs about 20KG/44lbs and is quite large. It looks nice. I’m excited to have the magnetic panel so I can brand the front for my seminars! I will probably also use this as a stand up desk while working. I am so excited to start practicing my presentations.Assembly was straightforward and took about 1 1/2 hours because I had to find other tools, had to fit pieces that didn’t line up with predrilled holes on the second side of the front panel.Other assembly issues included, after only 4 screws, the hex tool stripped so I had to go find another hex tool that thankfully was sturdier than the enclosed aluminum one. Because of the of the misaligned pieces, when I joined the top to the bottom, paint was sheered off during the joining process so I had a pile of white paint strips.

It wasn’t hard to assemble but it’s easier with two people.Very sturdy. I put my Mac Book/IPad on it all day and roll it around without a worry.Small enough to roll down the isles in my room but big enough that I can keep everything I need right in front of me.

I ordered 4 of these lecterns for my teachers this year. They are AMAZING!! They are strong and move easily when the wheels are not locked in place. They are roomy enough for a teacher's book as papers. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They were very easy to put together. I did put the top shelf lip on first after I put the first one together. This made it easier to screw the 3 screws in.

Heavy duty, should last a good long while. Could even replace the shelves if needed, without having to replace the entire unit. Rolls well. Center of gravity is good, so it doesn't tip over as you move it around or even if you lean a little on it while talking. Shelf underneath lets you put personal items or things needed while you are speaking. Top shelf has a large enough lip on it to keep papers, books, and electronic devices from sliding off the slanted surface. So far am quite pleased with this item.
