I finally have my boards and yaks off the ground! I haven’t blown up the ISUP yet to put up there, but, Yay!These went in a cinder block wall and you’ll need better screws than what they send you for that, but it’s sturdy, neat and tidy. Definitely great value for the money and I can just store the paddles with each rack along with the vessels. Now, to find a way to integrate the PFD’s. I’ll probably use S hooks on each bar for that for complete storage setup.

This seems like a good rack. I have 4 kayaks but only put 2 on this rack. Rack would easily fit 3 with a spot for paddles, not 4 unless very thin. The hardware to put this together is a huge fail compared to what is otherwise a quality made rack. The screws to mount this to the wall are aluminum pan head screws. Dont use them. The washers to the bolts that hold the bars on are too small, get bigger ones, you will need 16 if you use all the bars. The rack would be more usable if it was a bit longer or there was an extension you could bolt on to give it another foot. That aside, it is a good rack for what it is.

It worked great. Installation was easy and it easily holds the weight of 4 kayaks

I bought the 4 kayak holder planning to store 3. The company has an odd idea of how tall a kayak is. The quality of the brackets and arms is very high, with substantial weight to them. The bolts that hold the arms on are acceptable. Like most Chinese exports, the screws are crummy.I used 4 1/4" structural lag screws to connect the brackets to studs. These are very strong. However their head is larger (a feature, not a bug) and are somewhat in the way of bolting of the arms. You could put washers on the inside of the brackets but I used lock washers on the outside and tightened the two bolts snugly. Lock washers are better because putting kayaks in and out works otherwise work the bolts loose.I used to give 4 stars when the screws are useless but now I'm so used to ignoring the screws that come with products that I don't ding the seller for ubiquitous garbage screws.Assembly took 20 minutes.

We mounted on the side of our shed. Would have been nice to have an additional rack but we can store our child size kayaks on top of other kayaks.

The rails that attach to the walls and the arms that hold the kayaks are well-made and heavy duty. The screws that hold the arms to the rails are good, but the screws that hold the rails to the walls are totally inadequate. They are very light-duty and made of cheap metal. I strongly suggest they not be used. They also come with drywall anchors which is amazing. One should not attempt to hold up this much weight using drywall anchors - secure the frame into wood or metal. When finished installing the rails, there will be 3 large holes on each one where the screws go. Since I mounted this outside by the water, I did not want large holes for things to fly or crawl into, so I bought plastic plugs for the holes (see photos). Very pleased with the items, but to get 5 stars they need to provide adequate hardware.
