I bought this because the thin, sharp edge of stainless steel will not drip. It does not drip and that makes it a full 4 stars. I was remembering the jigger like this my dad had 20 years ago when I bought this. ( I replaced a god awful glass one with thick rounded top lip that always spilled and dripped.)4 stars instead of 5 because it is very thin. If I drop it, I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt it will bend.But I could not find the thick walled version. You cannot find well made products any more, just cheap ones.

I've been looking everywhere for metal tongs with teeth. Even though they are listed as ice tongs, I use them for cooking, especially for turning over meat in the oven or grabbing meat out of the pan to plate it. All the other tongs on the market don't have teeth and they dont grab onto the meat like these do

These ice tongs are the best thing ever! They EASILY grab a bunch of ice cubes at a time and the ice doesn’t slip off it like the other chintzy ones. The majority water easily drains while you are grabbing the ice as well so you’re not just putting ice water into your cup but I would kind of shake the ice to avoid the extra water. I cannot say enough good about them. They’re a game changer and more hygienic. I use a standard clear pitcher and the ice tongs and it works great. Bonus that the tongs lock like any good cooking tongs do and they’re coated at certain points so you don’t freeze your fingers off!

Easy to use and I like the rubber on the side of the tongs. That rubber helps prevent the tongs from being too cold to hold.

For a similar price, you can get a double jigger that has volume markings for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1.5, and 2 oz which is much more useful when making cocktails. This one collects dust now since I bought a better one with the volume markings!
