I'm cleaning files and shredding years of papers. Burned out my old shredder so I ordered this one. What a difference! This one is QUIET. Shreds fantastic. Let's me know when the bin is full and the the bin is easy to empty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A nicely designed and reasonably quiet shredder. The bin size is good, although now I wish I would have gotten the next larger size.But, all in all, I'm very satisfied with the operation and style of the machine. The stated run time is what also sold me on this unit, given as 60 minutes, is impressive. Although I don't think I have ever run any shredder for more than 10 minutes at a time, it must be a pretty good motor to advertise it as they state.

I bought this shredder because it was relatively quiet and highly rated. I've haven't ran that many sheets through it, but so far I would give it 5 stars. Works fairly quickly, shreds thoroughly, was easy to assemble and is easy to move around.

Easy to use. Great for home use. Down side is lots of shaving dust after shredding and large shredder shavings. Quiet while in use. Easy to empty.

(imho). Have owned other shredders for sensitive documents etc & wanted a top of the line.THIS SHREDDER:MICRO-CUT = The better cut, it's like tiny confetti, not strips that could be glued back together.TINY-SIZED MICRO-CUT "CONFETTI" = This one micro cuts to a tiny size; better since the whole purpose is to shred for security reasonsQUIET = 60 db (imho) Not loud. I sat right in front of it & could've talked on my phone at the same time. So, you could also use this is one room & it wouldn't hinder anyone else sleeping or watching TV etc in another area.GOOD SIZE = 5.3 gallon means you could shred 480pages before you need to empty it. Big enough to shred & hold a bunch, but not so big that you can't make is discreet in a room or home officeEASY SETUP = Super easy right out of the box. I don't want to deal with complicated or time consuming setups. When I received the shredder for my church, I was so excited and started shredding old envelopes from 2 years ago. It was awesome! Then I started shredding financial reports from 5 years ago and that's when I saw an issue. When I would stop shredding, the shredder would continue to run forward and then it stopped and started running in reverse. The problem with that is, all the paper that had not dropped would come back up to the top of shredder and created a jam. I had to clear it out in order to shred more paper. So, I started lightly pressing the lever after a few shreds to make it think I was shredding and it would clear any paper that had not dropped. That is time consuming and I was disappointed with that. I wish there was a way to turn the auto reverse off.

Muy fácil de usar. La puedes ocupar 60 minutos seguidos sin problema. Después le das su descanso de 20 minutos y la puedes volver a usar. Me fascinó. Altamente recomendable.

No aguanto los 30 min de trabajo que anuncian, ni el ritmo de destruir 16 hojas , se dañó a los 4 dÃas de recibirlo.

Don’t know why I didn’t opt for spending the extra money for a more robust shredder sooner. This machine shreds 2-5 page documents without pause for prolonged periods. Quiet as it works and gets the job done very efficiently. Large collection bin which diminishes the frequent required emptying. Being used for home office with moderate to intermittent large paper shredding needs. Very satisfied with product.
