HISTORY
Bont was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic material like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. In the 1980's Bont dominated the quad racing scene with the lightest and strongest boots on the market thanks to our unique one-piece manufacturing technique. Bont was the first quad skate company to use lace covers, velcro, and aluminum strengtheners in the boots.

The yellow color is more Chatruce (green undertones). Quality is very nice.

This scratches easyly and looses color when scraped the first time. I don't mind because it keeps the actual boot intact. I got it for my son's skates. He falls all the time but his skates look brand new. The toe guards are scraped but don't have a hole, yet. So I'd say they hold up well. I wouldn't buy them for my own skates. I hate to see any scratches even on my toe guards.

They do a great job of protecting my moxi skates. I put them on the Second hole up and don’t have a problem getting my skates tight. I’ve taken some nasty spills in the last couple of months, but the color practically rubbed off the first time I wore them and there is a loose thread on my left one. Expect to replace them in ~3 months if youre a beginner. Still- it works!

Good quality toe guards. If you want more style, you can use leather paint markers on them, but if you skate aggressively or fall a lot, be prepared for paint scrapes. I prefer the sewn style of these to the rivet style of others, I've had too many rivets pop off, and while I have a leather kit, I don't keep it on me.

Just put them on. I have impala 4-wheelers in size 8. Needed to use an electric screwdriver to remove the front brake, and then hook the leather toe cover on. You can tell from the pics I experimented with a couple ways of tying the laces before making my final decision. 🛼🛼

These are very well made. They are thick, not flimsy so they cast around the toe of the skate firmly. Very easy to put on the skate and lace up. I would definitely buy this again but it does take time to be delivered depending on where you are! Definitely recommend!
