I have for at least the last half a year been very into amateur book binding and these have become a staple for me. I do wish I could find a pack of these colors that gave me simply more to work with, but the size is perfect for one book for me since I use 8.5x11 paper. It holds really well, easy to work with and honestly one of the few products I have bought more than twice.

This book covering (bookbinding cloth) is absolutely gorgeous. It feels great, and there's a LOT of it in this set. 10 pieces! PLUS mull cloth. There are also 2 "bone" knives included in this set. Just in case you need them (I personally have several other sets!).There are many ways to bind a book, so I won't go into all that, but you will likely need bookbinding cloth if you're going to do it - even if it's just as a base to other things you print. This bookbinding cloth is archival, acid-free. Perfect for this sort of thing.Overall there are a LOT of colors in here - lilac, sage, red, dark blue, and black. This is certainly helpful when determining which color you would like to cover your book with. LOVE this set, at currently just under $17, that ends up being about $1.70 a page of bookbinding cloth. Plus they're a good size. Awesome! Definitely recommend.

This is significantly better than using duck (duct) tape for outer binding repairs on old hardcover books. I am using this to do more professional repairs on old and damaged books that I particularly value. You get 10 large sheets of book cloth in 5 colors (2 of each). It has a thick flexible paper backing but no adhesive or glue so I am attaching it using a PVC adhesive, which is similar to Elmer's glue but is non-acidic. These sheets can be cut to the size you need. Since these are big sheets, I can cut off a long enough strip to cover the wear on the spines of large hardcover books. I am also cutting small triangular pieces to cover just the corners of the covers when they are badly worn through to the boards. These sheets look like a tightly woven fabric with a matte finish, similar to most hardcovers. These are really useful, great quality, and reasonably priced.

These are a great quality and are perfect for small or average sized books. Very tight fit on my larger books so would not recommend for books above 600 pages
