These are the kinds of bookends that used to be available everywhere. Everyone seemed to have at least some if them, and they last forever. These are sturdier than the norm with an attractive inner design. Set of 8 is well worth the price. Highly recommend.

These book ends work well and they match our bookshelf. They do not hold very large books well (textbooks and binders) as those books are a bit heavy, but they work well for normal sized books (such as novels and self-help books).
