Got the notebook in today and I love it! It's very plain, but contains everything necessary for a lab notebook, including a Table of Contents where you can specify the content of each page. The grid paper is nice and allows for both neat line spacing and any drawings or schematics which may be necessary. I wish the original pages in the notebook were perforated the same as the duplicates, given that I'm expected to turn in the original copies in my lab, but it's not that burdensome.When writing with ballpoint pen, the duplicates are perfect and pick up on the writing nicely. So nicely, in fact, that if you don't use the little "shield" included under the page you're writing on and its duplicate, the duplicates for pages back will still have marks from previous pages! Be careful before you get a duplicate with three pages worth of text on it that's difficult to decipher. (That being said, I'd much rather this sort of design than a duplicate which hardly picks up on the writing!)The duplicates aren't attached to the original pages like some notebooks, but I've had no problem keeping the two even so the writing isn't askew on the duplicate. Overall, it's a great lab notebook that's cheap without sacrificing much in the way of quality.

I bought the 50-page notebook since I am just using this in a summer-session Chemistry course: more than enough pages to cover the 5 weeks, and still light enough to haul around (I also bought a different lab notebook and it was huge and heavy!). So buy the smallest notebook that will handle your needs.Lots of nice features with this notebook. Plastic covers back and front, good reference material on the fold-out placeholder, etc. I did have to abandon the use of my gel pens for ballpoints, though--otherwise the duplicate copy was not legibly dark enough. My one star off is because a lot of the duplicate pages had a "smudge" dot on them, I assume that was the result of someone handling the notebook too roughly during packing/shipping.

I needed this notebook for my lab it works great. It has a carbon paper due to which I always have a copy of whatever I write. I would definitely recommend this if you have to write lab reports in terms to keep tract of your experiments. Even the pages are easy to take off without causing any mess. Carbon copy is clear as well. Glad I bought this for my lab.

I used this notebook for a chemistry lab. It is not made specifically for chemistry though, so there is no periodic table included. There are, however, plenty of unit conversion factors and frequently used physical constants listed in the back. The carbonless copy pages are easy to read. Also, there are plastic sheets on the front and back that protect the book from many spills and make it more rugged; a very nice feature.There is one thing that could be improved: the copy pages are not aligned with (or stuck to) the associated original pages. Rather, they are held independently on the wire binding. This means that a copy page will slide around behind its original, so precision graphing performed on the original may not be accurately copied and sometimes data written on separate lines on the original will overlap on the copy page.In order to counteract this problem, I stuck each pair of pages together using a very small amount of glue at the top and bottom of the page next to the binding. (See photo.) It would be great if this kind of feature were built-in.I am pleased with this book, in spite of the extra work necessary to properly align the copy pages with the original.

Is not carbonless notebook, just normal sheets. Definitely not worth 35$. I contacted seller, they offered even less than half price money return but I never get even it. Extreme disappointment.
