As a hardcore origamist, constantly creasing paper really takes a toll on my thumbnail. The friction wears away my nail little by little until it's down to the quick, and it hurts! But! There is a solution for all you other origami enthusiasts out there! A quality bone folder, and this is a great place to buy one. I ordered my bone folder and got it a day early, in an envelope lined with bubblewrap. It's really well made, and it's real bone, unlike a lot of other folders out there made out of plastic or other materials. It feels really good in my hands, and is very organic and natural. It has a few small impurities, due to the nature of the bone it was made from, but I love that about it. The point is perfect for opening up paper for a squash fold, too!All in all, this is a fantastic buy. Just be careful if you have a dog. Mine keeps trying to use his begging eyes because he thinks it's a treat for him haha!

I bought this because I was doing a creative project that involved making a book from scratch. I had no idea these things existed, and I wish I had!! I've done paper crafts of various types for many years but never had a tool this useful. Its shape is perfect for the hand, making it easy to use; the tip is rounded enough not to cause any tears but pointed enough to manage corners with a neat efficiency. It's small enough to fit handily into anyone's kit, purse, or pocket, but large enough that you won't have to wear yourself out trying to fold a longer piece of paper. As it turns out, this tool also works quite well on cotton fabrics and felts, too! Well worth the price!

I love this product! I've used it daily ever since it was delivered. I can't believe I've worked this long without it! I even keep it in my pocket, because I used it for just about everything I do in the library, from smoothing out book tape and book labels, to all kinds of book repair. I've also purchased a far more expensive version made of teflon from DemCo, but I have gravitated toward this one primarily because of the ergonomic fit in my hand, the cool, smooth feel of the product (I think it is made of real bone), and the pointed end makes it far more versatile than the rectangular teflon one I've also purchased. It's definitely worth more than what you pay for! I may buy another for home use.

Perfect for scoring and burnishing in bookbinding. Nice size, nice to hold. I use it constantly throughout the day. So far, I find Lineco products in general to be very good. I will probably order more sizes of the bone folder.

Nice item. Smooth and hard with the shape that makes folding and creasing easy. I use it for leather work, not so much for paper, as it was intended. My only complaint is that it took forever to actually be SHIPPED, and longer to ARRIVE. Sometimes I wonder what "Prime" means......

This seems to be a fairly decent, sturdy bone folder. It has a good weight and feel in my hand, and the tip is finished off nicely and scores well. The one thing that disappointed me was that the rounded end on the back was left chunky and unfinished. I'm not sure why it wouldn't have been sanded to a similar but rounded edge -- that's how other bone folders I have used have all come. But since it's real bone, I was able to grab a few grits of sandpaper and finish the tool to my satisfaction.

I had volunteered to repair the children's Bibles at our church and bought this product. I had done this many years ago at a local library so I was familiar with the "how to" of the project. This tool is perfect for for smoothing creases and the tape. I fixed my well-used-in-need-of-repair first as a refresher and the cover look like new. You can't see where I repaired cover! Great product; highly recommended.

This was my first time using something like this and it was perfect! I made my own wedding invites and trying to fold the cardstock sleeves my hand looked so ugly. I found this product after a little online searching and it was exactly what I needed. Not to heavy on the hand, smooth to touch and did it's job. I'll definitely be recommending to anyone trying the same process.
