Only ended up needing the one since I only have the 4 poles and the angle they are being stored. This is a shot down to my basement and let me tell you this is a space saver. No more complaints from the lady about them being stored. Super easy to install too.

Not the best for stubby rods. Had to trim a little bit off to make the handle of some of my rods in order for a good fit. Can’t complain to much about it for what it’s worth.

This particular horizontal model is perfect for our garage since we have some raised structures almost halfway through the walls. The design is simple yet very effective. It is very easy to install but the trick is to find the studs for a more sturdy installation. If I had to be picky, I would say it would be great to include a few extra/spare foam inserts in case they wear out over time.I sincerely hope that you will find my review helpful.

I bought this to get my garage more organized and get my fishing rods out of a corner and out of the way. The rack looks nice and does what it was intended to do, but I feel it could have been a little longer. It is supposed to hold 6 rods/reels, but it’s quite crowded. It could use a little more space between each rod slot. I have 3 very large rods with big reels and it really took some creative arranging to get them into this rack! I got 5 to fit ok. The instructions were on the back of the box and were pretty straight forward but I would have liked it better if they had said what size drill bit was needed to drill the correct size hole for the drywall inserts. My rods are now off the floor and safely hanging on the wall where they won’t get damaged so I’m pleased with that… I’m just thinking maybe this rack should come in an extra large size that would accommodate 8.5 ft rods with extra large spinning reels on them. Over all not bad though.

“Booms,” man. I’ve noticed their ever-growing presence in the industry. And their products have been great so far, by my experience. This one is no different. I have 30 different rod and reel setups, all ranging from ultralite panfish/trout setups to heavy offshore boat rod and trolling setups. With that being said, I designated this rod rack here to my lighter inshore saltwater setups. It holds five spinning setups and one bait caster setup very comfortably (in a horizontal direction), with each rod ranging between 7 and 7.5 feet (in light and medium actions) and each reel ranging between the 3000-4000 size. I offset them by installing the top rod facing one direction, the next one facing the other direction, so on and so forth. This extended version gives these rods a very spacious and comfortable place to call home (when they’re not with me on the water) and I don’t have to fight one rod being tangled up in another when I remove any of them. I used 75 lbs. drywall anchors and stainless steel screws to secure the rod holders to the drywall. The provided hardware would have worked, but I always use overkill when I’m mounting things that I love. The rod holders don’t grip the rods so tightly that its compromised the drywall anchoring either, which can be a common issue with these things. This is a great rod holder and has been serving me well over the past month. I would like to thank Amazon for allowing me to be a part of their Vine program. My reviews are unbiased, honest, and sincere in an effort to provide you (the customer) with the information you may need in choosing this product or not, and I hope that is what my review accomplishes for you.
I would also like to thank the seller “Booms Sports&Outdoors Co., Ltd” for providing me this product as an Amazon Vine member. I look very forward to owning it and it will be getting plenty of use and exposure to other potential buyers throughout its life with me. Thanks again and I wish you success in your endeavors.

I know it seems odd to give 5 stars for simple fishing rod holders such as these. But they completely execute their goal flawlessly. They are very light but sturdy. Extremely easy to install. And as you can see in the pictures, it holds 6 fishing rods with ease. And looks good doing it.Nothing fancy here, but it is a nice, inexpensive way to store your rods on the wall, instead of bunched up in a corner of your shed or garage.I installed these in less than 5 minutes.
