Purchased this shaft as part of an upgrade to my CJ7. I was changing to a different steering box that I believed to have the to be the same as the manual CJ box but I was mistaken, this shaft has a 3/4in 36 spline joint where as I needed a 3/4in 30 spline. I was able to call Borgeson and explain my issue purchase a new joint and return the join that came with my shaft for a refund (less restocking fee & shipping). I received the new joint the next day. These are premium parts accompanied by premium customer service, highly recommend. Will update review following installation and use of parts but quality appears to be top notch.

This doesn't fit splines on steering box shaft. They are more course than splines from steering column. Also at steering column the splines look right but I cannot get it on there either. I shouldn't have to hammer it on.

The old steering shaft was no comparison to this. It took 90% of my steering play out. The rest is just what you have with a 40 year old manual steering Jeep. Very happy.
