I had installed a budget3" catback exhaust on my f150 ecoboost. It was basically just a straight pipe with a pass through muffler. It was loud and the drone inside the cabin was pretty unbearable. I read the reviews on this Borla and decided to try it out. Well, it for great, just cut my exhaust where the factory resonator was and fit it in. Two clamps and it's done. Now the drone is totally gone and the overall exhaust volume is a little quieter but still sounds great. Fit and finish on this unit is very nice.

I installed an aftermarket catback (Rough Country) exhaust on my 2022 F-150 5.0 and the drone was pretty bad. Gave this Borla Resonator a try and it helped cut the drone down a lot, and also made it a little bit quieter / smoother tone which I'm happy with as well. Sure, Borla is pricey compared to others but I wanted a bolt/clamp on resonator as I have a pipe cutter so no sense paying a shop $100 to install a $50 weld on resonator. This was the only 3" in/out bolt on I could find and got a great price on a used, "Like New" which ended up being brand new as are most used items with that description from Amazon. I'm 100% happy with my purchase, it fixed my issue and was simple to install. It also sealed tight with the band Clamps I had so no exhaust leaks... it likely will outlive the rest of my exhaust because Borla is top quality.

Installed a 3" system on the wife's Jeep Gladiator and it had a bad drone under load. Placed this in the location where the factory system had it's 2nd muffler (factory had two mufflers and a resonator near the tip).Took care of the drone and deepened the sound a little. Very happy with the results! Even though they are not a low cost option I gave 5 stars for value as it's well made and saved me from trashing the new exhaust system so it was well worth the price.
