This bit worked fine for my needs. Given that it is already a small diameter bit, the added length means the user has to be careful not to snap the bit. Drills as expected.

I own several of these bits, pretty much every size and length, they are high quality and very affordable. The drill bit will easily cut through wood and most mild steels and are very durable. You can't go wrong with these bosch bits.

I had to drill a hole in a guitar body to ground the bridge. Right bit for the job, long enough and sharp enough to cut right thru mahogany.

Great for drilling pilot holes in wood. Needed to reduce the torque required to install #10 x 3" stainless wood screws. These provided just the right amount of torque reduction for the longer screws.

Haven't used it for drilling but its been perfect for wrapping coils for my e-cig so far. Feels pretty solid too.

Before this purchase, I had little experience with long thin drill bits -- and suspected that they would break easily and be a source of frustration. To my pleasant surprise, these worked great -- and after being used a number of times, are ready to use again in the future. Very satisfied.
