Only drilled about halfway through where cement got more dense, using a hammer action drill. Got so hot from friction it burned my finger. Buy a nicer bit or set of bits.

Worked great. The brick generated a lot of friction and heat, so I paused regularly and wiped down the bit with a wet paper towel. I think the bit will last a while as long is it isn't allowed to overheat

Got this bit to drill into my stucco for an install. The bit barely made it through the surface and not with a clean hole, then it just spun around in the shallow opening it made, never establishing a deep enough hole for a screw. I’m surprised that Bosch has it’s name associated with this item. Not a masonry bit.

This drill bit worked perfectly for our needs. We needed to drill holes in brick to mount a flag pole bracket. My brick is Chicago brick which is pretty brittle. I was afraid it might shatter. It did not. This drill made a nice clean hole and we were able to mount the bracket with no issues. The bit is still in perfect shape. I recommend this masonry bit.

I have a good set of masonry bits, but unfortunately, it does not include a 3/16 which I needed for a project, so i thought I'd give this one a try. I used the bit to drill a few holes in the soft motor between the bricks of my home. By the midway point of the second hole, this thing was done. Even in the first few minutes of use, I could tell that this thing was not up to the task.
