Bosch make some of the best Sanders on the market, this one is no exception. Build quality is excellent. Very comfortable to use with low vibration. I didn't realize I was going to get three different sanding pads with this sander. This makes it even more versatile. Dust collection is excellent. Would highly recommend.

Initially I really love this but after using it a week dust port on the side beats the purpose for this sander. It blocks when accessing corners. It is still better than any other cordless finish sander but I am returning this to get a corded festool rts.

This is, for the most part, a great finishing sander. It's lightweight, easy to operate, and versatile. The battery life is excellent (when used with an 18V Core battery), and the material removal is very controlled. The dust collection is surprisingly very effective as well (for a "sock").However, it is virtually impossible to find sanding paper for the machine. Additionally, the clamp-on mechanism that accompanies the 1/3 size sanding plate is a terrible design. It is, in fact, so bad that it's just about useless. That leaves you with but one option: buy a non-fitting hook and loop paper somewhere and adapt it to fit this sander.Bosch, I am German, and I am ashamed for you.

No complaints. Does what it is supposed to do. Like it has multiple heads for sanding. Saves from carrying multiple sanders. Do wish changeover was a bit easier. Power is good.

I liked mine . As far as finding sandpaper I used Diablo mesh sandpaper which is a cheap alternative but very effective. Adding a vacuum hose makes everything easier and faster. You don’t really need one.If I have to point out any problems it would be the batteries. Most people are married to dewalt or Milwaukee and they cheat on their brand with mixing . I don’t have an issue with mixing batteries because I usually use an adapter. dewalt battery to Bosch adapters don’t work on this Bosch . They just don’t! They barely work on drills. Maybe it was the adapter. So I couldn’t use my dewalt 20 volt or Milwaukee 18 volt batteries with an adapter. So I had to invest in batteries that I will use on just this one tool and then it hit me. I went pawn shops for Bosch 18v tools that come with a battery and charger . Now I have 4 newish batteries with chargers and 4 drills and impact drivers and random sander for the same price as 4 new batteries.I also purchased separately new batteries for this tool here on Amazon. Nothing is worse than running out of power and then waitingThis tool meets all of my needs it’s powerful and small and lightweight and I have plenty of batteries.Bosch drivers are good, they’re just not great . I learned to live with not the greatest tools because I prefer dewalt. Milwaukee is a great tool but expensive . Diablo sells 5 sheets of mesh sandpaper that you can cut yourself and save money. My primary sanders are festool . And the battery powered tool in this configuration is very expensive. Sander plus two used batteries was just around 200 dollars versus over 500 for the festool. If this tool continues to perform, I will buy another one. I have a sickness, I own two of everything that I love. That means I own two festool sanders in every category .So far I would highly recommend this tool . It better to two 4 ah batteries than one 8 ah although one of the chargers I purchased is a fast charger.I give it 5 stars.

Yes, you get three different heads. I have four of these and keep two with the rectangular head and two with the delta head on at all times. Sandpaper is compatible with the Festool and Powertec brands. Powertec sells all of the grits you will need for the rectangular shape. I run a dust extraction vacuum on all sanding projects, which delivers excellent results.
