These things are expensive but man do they last. Remodeling a house and spent a good but of time yesterday cutting through ancient heart pine that's about as hard as a rock along with a ton of nails. Still on the first blade and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. Usually I buy a Fien assortment pack that comes out to around $5 a blade but they were out of stock so these were the next best quality blade at a decent price. It appears these hold up better than the Fien when cutting nails. Also the slight curve in the blade makes plunge cuts super easy. These are not cheap by any means but way better than buying a single blade locally for $20 a pop.

Three pack for under $30 is a good deal and they work awesome, they also change out very easy. Will buy again when I need more.

These are quality blades and will make a lot of cuts in my experiences with them ,but it also depends on what you are cutting and how you are cutting with it . IF you take your time and cut a little slower with moderate pressure these blades last a long time but if you try to power through it you will burn your blade up quickly.

A narrower version of this blade ships with the Bosch tools. This one is the widest blade Bosch makes at 2.5" inches. The slight curvature of the blade makes it easier to start cuts, control, and guide the blade. Bosch sells a similar blade, the OSL212JF. At first glance these two blades look similar but the main difference is in the style of teeth, as designated in the last digits of the model number. The Japanese tooth version of the blade (JF) cuts more aggressively in wood but you have to be careful not to hit any nails or metal. This version of the blade (F) does't cut as fast in wood but you can use it to cut through nails without a worry. It also leaves a cleaner cut in wood than the Japanese tooth version. The blade can plunge all the way through a 2x4, but just barely. The blade ideally should be at least a 1/4" longer, which would make it much more useful, and for that I've removed a star.If you're not familiar with Starlock blades, they're a quick-release mount blade primarily designed to be used on Starlock mount tools. However you can use these blades on most other non Starlock oscillating tools. Some tools may require an adapter which Bosch sells. If you buy an oscillating tool that has a Starlock mount please note you can only use Starlock blades, you will not be able to use your non Starlock blades on a Starlock tool. If you currently own a non Starlock oscillating tool and plan to buy a Starlock tool at some point in the future, then you might want to consider buying Starlock blades for your current tool, that way you will be able to use them later on when you buy a Starlock mount equipped tool.

Use for my hardwood sculpture for detail work. Are absolutely worth the money. I don't mind paying more for quality and when it comes to Specialty blades Bosch seems most consistent in terms of quality and durability. And I work them hard/continuously.
