Boss audio has proven itself for outdoor systems. East to install very good sound for what you pay. It really is hard to go wrong when you are looking for some decent tunes to play in the boat.

When brainstorming to add a stereo to my Yamaha Waveventure PWC, I came across this system and it seemed to fit my needs and the size of where I intended to put it. I wanted a way to listen to some music when floating or beached and didn't want to permanently modify my ski. So I installed this complete system in a spare front storage compartment. I'm also adding 2 3.5" speakers into a set of spare mirror housings.The system itself is small, light, and came with everything and seems to be well made, I'll update after use for some time and see how it holds up. For the price, I don't expect it to last forever.I tested it hooked to a YB14 series battery which is smaller than the one in my ski. I didn't hook up an ammeter, but this seems to draw very little power. I ran it on the bench via Bluetooth from my phone for 3 hours. Battery still showed 12.7 volts and charger said battery was still 95% capacity after the test. Battery drain being a concern, I'm very happy with this.The included speakers sound good. Not great, but as expected or better. For my needs, quite acceptable. The controls are easy to use. Blue tooth range is great. I tried it at up to 40 ft away and it worked fine.I'm pleased so far and have no complaints.Update 7/18/2017:One year later, still going strong and works as well as the day it was installed!Update 5/10/2018Almost 2 years later and still works as well as it did when new. And it lives a rough wet life in the front of my Waverunner. It has been moved to my 98 XL1200 which uses the same front storage tub and gets a lot of looks, listens and thumbs up for having a stereo in my ski. I also put the small Polk audio 3.5†speakers I had in the mirrors of my wave venture in the mounting plate. Still love this setup!Update: 10/25/2018Still working like New after another season in the ski. And in the off season I use it in my shop for a stereo. Still very happy!Update: 4/12/2019Still going.............All winter in my shop. And now back in the ski for another season on the water. Still works perfectly!Update 7/29/2019You guessed it.........still working perfectly.

Only issue I had was, once it seemed to have bricked. It would not turn on to the bluetooth. I had to plug in a usb cord to trigger it on again (and then change mode from usb to bluetooth). bit of a glitch.

I was a little nervous based off of some of the reviews but man this thing sounds so good! we did order some bass speakers so we can have more base but they put out a surprisingly loud sound which is perfect for our boat and even without the subwoofers it still sounds pretty dang good ! Very impressed and easy to install! Haven’t had it long enough to know if is truly water resistant time will tell so I still have that a 5

Ordered this for a cooler boom box build. In spite of several immediate red flags, I installed it anyway to meet a deadline.Red flag 1- 14 ga main power wire, under absolutely ideal conditions this should be 8ga.(assuming it will actually put out 500w)Red flag 2- this 14ga power wire comes with a 15amp inline fuse pre installed, but wait, shouldn’t a 500 watt system pull 40+ amps? (Watts /volts=amps) so 500w/12volts= 42 amps assuming no line loss and ideal voltage. I was worried this fuse would blow immediately or I was gonna be terribly disappointed in output.My fears were confirmed once install was complete. It is nowhere near 500w. Turned all the way up (on the amp and bluetooth device) it is a comfortable listening volume, sitting right next to the speakers. 150w rms by my Klein inductive dc ammeter.. I mean it works but it’s a straight up lie to market this as 500w. Disappointed I didn’t see any other reviews mention that it is theoretically impossible for this to output any more than 180w max in its current configuration. Would not recommend… please spend a little more on something else because you will be disappointed if you order this expecting 500w sound.

I installed this system in my Larson LX195s. Setup was quite easy and the instructions provided are clear and easy to follow. Sound quality is good for the price, I recommend this product.

El producto esta fallando ¿Que debo hacer? Falla: Sube o Baja el volumen a extremos, reproduciendo MP3, en ocasiones sube el volumen al maximo de forma autonoma, sin mando del celular, y los controles del aparato no responden; lo mismo hace pero en sentido opuesto, baja el volumen al minimo (0), sin respondeer. ¿Como pueden ayudarme para resolver esta situacion?

Se adapta a mis necesidades por completo. Llegaron en un periodo de 10 a 13 dÃas. Para mi gusto solo quedarÃa que fuese PRIME. Por el resto son perfecto
