This works really well for a small pedal case. The plastic and egg crate foam is good quality for what you pay for. If you have a small pedal set up, like a multi-effect pedal and a tuner, or if you just want a small, secondary set up for smaller gigs. It doesn’t include a power supply, so you’ll have to use your own for that.

Foam insert is tricky to cut (draw around your pedals & use a good toolkit-grade cutting knife & ruler on a flat surface). Arranging the power cables beneath nearly caused a nervous breakdown. But once its together, it's pretty sweet. Plenty of room for up to 10 pedals, even my Orange ones, which are a bit chunkier than Boss. In addition to the Boss AW3, I wanted to wanted to integrate an EHX Nano q-tron into my chain. Utilizing the dead space under the handle & with some creative but simple wiring to ensure it came before the compressor, I was able to make this work. Patch cables are tight but so far no buzz or feedback. Once this bad boy is up & running, it'll make breaking out & rocking your fav pedals very easy. Looks good too, even with a few rough cuts around some of the pedals. My advice to anyone buying this, especially those not using all Boss pedals, expect to spend some time putting this together. Don't rush it, especially cutting the foam. Take your time & enjoy shaping this into exactly what you want it to be. You will have more fun, experience less frustration, & a much better end result (yes you get one shot at cutting the foam).

I love this pedal board and it works great for what I need but it was way to expensive. Seems to be sturdy as I have to lug it up and down stairs, easy to open and lock back down, handle comes up and down with ease, and it rolls with no problems. I hope it last a long time!

I like the size and portability. The foam bottom is easy to cut, and it holds things in place well without having to resort to velcro. It's nice that the case will hold all of your cables, so you don't ont have to unplug things. The hidden cable routing system will only accommodate the power cords - patch cords are too big for it. The top snaps on and off without too much trouble.I thought I would share some photos. The first shows how I'm using it for practice with a small amp. The power cord and USB cable are coming out on the left side. The second shows how I store it with all cords and cables remaining in place. The last two show the power cord hidden routing feature.

I hope the people at Boss read this 'cause IMO there is room for improvementI have older Boss and Behringer pedalboards which are very similar in design (Behringer having copied the concept from Boss) these include two Boss BCB60, and Behringer's PB600 and PB1000, all very good pedalboards that make it very easy to assemble your pedal chain with no tools required other than a small screwdriver, this review is basically a comparison between old and new.I bough the BCB90X only because of it's ability to accomodate 3 extra pedals but I was pretty much dissapointed by the way this particular model was thought of. Yes, they realized there was some unused space in the BCB60 that could be used for at least three more pedals but that's it, every other aspect should have remained the samePros:-Can accomodate more pedals (3 more) than the previous BCB60-Similar Size and weight than the previous model-Includes power supply and daisy chain-Great for home/studio use, portable and sturdy enough for gigsCons:-No patch cables for pedals included (Boss BCB60 and Behringer came with those), with the BCB90X you have to buy them separately.-Cutting the foam to open space for the pedals requires a knife or similar tool that must be sharp and it can get real messy if you are not careful or do it properly with the help of a ruler, I find this work to be unnecessary if pedal spaces came pre-cut from factory, it should be more user friendly and less time consuming, in the end the final user just wants to plug and play.-Placing the daisy chain under the foam is real painstaking, again the older design was very helpful with this.Bottom line:I removed the included foam and used velcro in the bottom, now I'm happy cause I can include other type of pedals in my chain, I recommend the Boss BCK-24 solderless pedalboard cable kit if you want to make your own patch cables in different sizes.Recommended only if your chain consists of all Boss or similar size pedals and if you have enough patience to deal with cutting foam and placing cables underneath.

This is more for a pedal or 2 depending on their size. I have a TC Helicon Acoustic play and I wanted something to travel with for easy setup. It’s a little too big for this but this case is so good I’ll still use it to safely travel with my pedal. Later in ill just it for smaller pedals whenever I get a larger case.

This pedal board will hold 3 regular sized pedal and you could squeeze in a mini. the case is pretty solid so pedals are protected. My only issue is that there isn't enough space between the pedals to use standard size patch cables if using 3 regular pedals. You would need the slim/thin type patch cables or the direct couple connectors. Must likely you'll end up modifying the pre-cut foam.Would purchase again.

This board is great! Sturdy and stable, but planning the layout is key. I configured several ways before choosing the final layout and working out cable management. The very last thing I did was cut the foam. I made the cuts very tight for pedal stability. Not even the Crybaby moves. I added a foam yoga wedge to create an incline and used Ernie Ball Flat Ribbon connectors . The board is very clean and has room for 1more . The Crybaby does require a bit of fiddling to get the case closed for transport, but It does close solidly and securely. 🙂

As a bass player, I have very few and simple needs when it comes to effect pedals, compared to my guitarist band mates. I use a tuner (obviously) and a compressor to help even out my playing when I change from quieter ballads to funkier grooves where I slap. I chose this BOSS BCB-30X unit from the plethora of pedal boards available on Amazon and other online music stores because it was one of the few that did not require the use of velcro to be glued to the bottom of the pedal. This unit has a "high-density" foam bottom insert with pre-scored cutouts for BOSS compact pedals (what else, right?) which is about 1cm thick - just the right depth to hold a pedal firmly without obstructing the input and output jacks. As you may be able to tell from the photos, both the Fender "The Bends" compressor and the Peterson StroboStomp HD tuner are slightly larger than a BOSS compact effect pedal, but a ruler and a sharp Xacto knife made quick work of that issue and I had a custom fit in short order. I also heeded my fathers advice from years ago, "Measure twice, cut once". Other reviewers have complained that the foam cutting is messy, and it is to a degree, but nowhere near as messy as polystyrene foam. Just a function of expectations, I guess. I even went as far to add my own "cutout" to house a spare battery box for AA/AAAs.When the gig is over the lid snaps securely into place, has soft foam in the lid to help hold your pedals in place during travel and has enough space for a second battery holder (9V) and my iRig Blue Turn pedal that flips pages on my iPad when jobbing. The outer shell of the case seems to be a lightweight, but sturdy, blow-mould plastic that appears as though it will stand up to the rigours of the road - time will tell. The lid is closed securely with two chunky sliding clasps, which have convenient holes for small padlocks if you are super concerned about mitigating theft. As you can see in the second photo, this case holds pretty much everything I need in one neat, tidy, and compact solution.The BOSS BCB-30X pedalboard/case gets the highest recommendation from me as an ideal piece of gear for musicians with modest needs, even if my guitar friends wrinkle their noses at its smaller footprint. Oh, and it also comes with a 4-pin parallel cable if you power your pedals with an AC adapter (which I don't, hence the battery boxes added to my case). Maybe I'll pass that cable along to one of my guitar friends.

La caja de BOOS cumple a la perfección con su diseño y calidad que muestran en la imagen, el único detalle es que al quitar la tapa para dejar solo la parte de los pedales resulta difÃcil, la caja BOOS la usaré para conectar dos pedales uno de BOOS y uno de Ibanez y transportarlos con facilidad.

Compre el estuche en promoción con caja abierta, esta como nuevo no hubo problemas con eso.Las dimensiones son casi las mismas entre la bcb-90 y la bcb-60:bcb-60 = 26.4 x 14.6 x 3.9 inchesbcb-90 = 26.4 x 15.1 x 4.4 inchesLas dos diferencias mas notables son que en la bcb-90 se removió el canal guÃa por completo, que en la bcb-60 era desmontable de cualquier forma; esto hace que parezca que hay mas espacio, pero en realidad es casi lo mismo. Además, la bcb-90 ya no incluye cables de parcheo.Al remover la espuma sujetadora (holding pad) hay una especie de canales (cable guide) cuyo proposito es ayudar a alinear conectores de corriente por debajo de los pedales y tienen una profundidad de poco menos de 1cm.Igual que la bcb-60 , los broches tanto de arriba como de abajo son de plástico y no se ven muy resistentes, habrá que ponerlos a prueba con el uso rudo en giras y presentaciones.Por otro lado, los conectores de entrada y salida independientes son muy útiles para no estar conectando/desconectando cables directamente de los pedales, los pedales quedan conectados fijamente y ya solo se conectan el instrumento al input y las salidas independientes output a la amplificación.El cable para multi-conectores cuenta con 10 conectores lo que significa que se pueden conectar en cadena 10 pedales con un solo adaptador, que igual que en la bcb-60 viene incluido y soporta 2000 mA de corriente. Igual hay conectores independientes para la fuente de poder y otro para el cable multi-conectores.Los cables de parcheo incluidos en el bcb-60 eran de gran ayuda, ya se tenia todo listo para empezar a tocar, ahora hay que lidiar con estar consiguiendo los cables por separado.Me gusto mas la bcb-60 por el hecho de que incluÃa los cables de parcheo, con respecto a la bcb-90 remover la canaleta guÃa en pro de liberar espacio parece ser una buena mejora.Voy a poner el estuche a prueba de resistencia y puede que modifique mi calificación en unos meses.
