The stapler works very well and looks nice. The chrome is not really chrome though. It is hard plastic, but the mechanisms are sturdy metal, so I expect the stapler to last a long time.

I have to admit, that I did not believe that this stapler would staple 40 sheets of paper. I had another brand stapler that had a hard time stapling 10 sheets of paper. The Bostitch Office Heavy Duty Stapler, 40 Sheet Capacity, No Jam, Full Strip is the best stapler I have ever owned or used! I stapled 40 sheets of 20 pound weight paper with no problem. My hand didn't hurt at all; it was so easy! The stapler is very durable and should last a long time. I think I am in love with this one.

It works but pulls apart to easy where you install the staples. opens sometimes if lifted in a hurry, just when you need to have it not do it.

This is absolutely the best stapler I've had in years! It's versatile. You can stand it up or lay it down and staples with ease. I absolutely can't say enough good things about this stapler. You can't go wrong. Just buy it, see for yourself!
