I help out a professional artist who often needs their work packed up for shipment to collectors around the world. The shipper required that the artwork be wrapped in plastic and then boxed. Finding the right box is never easy.This one made it very easy as the piece fit in well, and the 4 pieces of cardboard make the box adjustable so that I could wrap and box and then tape up the piece ready to be picked up by the art-transport company.While I could have just gone and found cardboard somewhere, this worked out well, it is a little pricy for one box, but it worked out very well for this project. I will purchase this again when I need an art shipping box.

Was destroyed by shipper. To be fair, shipper has destroyed much sturdier, more expensive boxes as well. GREAT for moving or protecting art for storage. Do not recommend for something of significant value.

This is a really great system but you have to know it does take four pieces to make this work! The whole thought behind this is that it’s a one size does not fit all that’s why it takes four pieces to make it work for your particular art size. What I did was I wrapped the art, mirror, etc with bubble wrap (if it was a mirror I put cardboard in front of the mirror and tape that onto the bubble wrap, bought corner protectors here on Amazon and put those on all corners or fragile points over the bubble and bubbles over that if needed and then Put these box covers over the top of that and then taped up all the sections together and then I put fragile tape around the top of it and a stripe around the bottom of it so the movers knew that this was art or a mirror. It worked very well! It’s not cheap moving!

I was moving and had a large artwork. This was the only box I could find that wasn’t ridiculously priced and could fit the painting. Easy to put together and really protected the artwork.

I think I thought these were going to be thicker than they were and I still needed to use bubble wrap around my pictures. However, having said that it was a great "mat" first layer.
