I bought this afraid that it wouldn't hold up but. I'm 230 pound and it worked perfect held up with little to no wear. The design is awsome and texture is great and keeps you from slipping. Great option if you don't want to invest a crazy amount but want a good board

These boards held up really well compared to ones you can buy locally at the beach. They also worked better than those models. The best part was the foam grip on the top on the board. This prevented any slipping when jumping on. We took this model to the beach and rode them for about 4 or 5 hrs each day for a week. It do show some minor wear from going over some shells but this is expected. I highly recommend these boards, well worth the money!

My 9 and 10 year old had a blast with this! It is durable and looks nice. The non-slip top is functional and beautiful.

I bought this 30" skim board for my 6 year old. He's about 3'11" and slim. He was excited to get it, since he loves to sand slide at the beach. He actually doesn't use this often, unfortunately. He says it's too small. I may get him a larger one in the future.

Last summer I picked up two dinky skimboards at a garage sale for $5 a piece. My son and I enjoyed playing on them, but I found them to be quite difficult, as they often would bite the sand and send me flying. After one of them became delaminated this summer, we decided to purchase the largest of these BPS boards - what a difference! Despite the board saying 150lbs, I have had no problem gliding along the surf with them, and my 9 year old son LOVES the board. If you are not ready to pull the trigger on a professional (and expensive!) glass board, I would highly recommend one of these BPS boards!

Purchased 2 equally priced skimboards on Amazon for a vacation. This one DID NOT HOLD UP. The coating is thin and cheap and started flaking off immediately resulting in the side wood swelling and splitting and provided no protection to the bottom of the board. Used both boards on the same beach for the same amount of time by 2 teenagers under 125lbs. The other (Black) board looked almost new after 10 days while the BPS had scratches completely through the “varnish†into the wood. The coating BPS uses has some serious quality issues and does not seem salt waterproof as after 1 hour it discolored from clear to yellow and started cracking.We also rented a skimboard for a day, the well used rental board did not have any of the deep damage that the BPS had after 2 days.Returned the item immediately after getting home. 2 months later I was billed for the board again stating I had not returned it! Amazon ultimately refunded the second charge.Would not recommend this company.
