The Argos Technologies BPV4510 bottle top aspirator holds 1,000mL and has a 0.45 micron membrane filter for sterile separation and purification of laboratory samples. The funnel and bottle are made of polystyrene (PS) for optical clarity and the membrane filter is made of polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) or chemical resistance and low retention of proteins. The funnel has engraved graduation markings for accuracy when measuring samples. The bottle has stepped-size vacuum hose connections to fit a variety of tubing sizes and a large cap size to make pouring easier. The case contains 12 individually wrapped bottle top aspirators for use in a variety of laboratory sample-testing applications.

As was mentioned, the flow rate was a little slow but not too bad. I did a two batches of 100ml each and got about 93ml out of each one so not too bad of a loss.

So far I have had to throw two of the units away because they are cracked and it pulls air into the filtration. So I have ultimately only had two units successful out of 4. I’ve used 250 mo with no problems but so far this box is trash.

Poor flow rate and made it China. Tried it based on price. Going back to Autofil by Foxx Life Sciences.

The flow rate seemed to be fine, but the filter media swallowed up 10cc of product. Thats a substantial manufacturing loss. I was doing a small batch, put 40cc in, only got 30 out. The small neck of the receiver flask makes handling the finished product difficult also.

These are absolute garbage filters. Every single bottom of them broke when filtering screwing up the whole process and having oil leak absolutely everywhere. These are garbage don’t buy them they take 2 hours to filter 250ml
