These foam cones are too dense to work well as drum trigger foam between the Piezo and the drum head, for my application..... However, they are excellent decoupling foam for drum head triggers, mounted between the drum mount assembly and the drum head Piezo.....I used these with elevator bolts, to create an adjustable head piezo assembly. This foam block is used between the elevator bolt and a fender washer that is used to mount the Piezo (see the picture)I found them to be an excellent decoupling block, used to decouple the head piezo from the drum shell so the head piezo does not trigger rim sounds and vice versaThe elevator bolt mounts to a wooden board placed inside the drum, allowing me to easily adjust of the Piezo foam cone contact dimension with the drum head. The wooden board (hardwood) is attached to the lower drum lug bolt....

DO NOT BUY these garbage for pdx 6 or 8, its too dense and doesnt conduct vibration. Listen to the other reviews.

Works perfectly in my Roland PDX6/8 pads says it all. My PDX pads had the original foam on the triggers and were getting unresponsive. This corrected and made them play and respond like nearly new again. Way cheaper than getting new pads. And, it's an easy task to replace the foam on the triggers.

Others who purchased this mentioned the adhesive or lack thereof. Unfortunately it is not adhesive, I put these on piezo pickups for acoustic to electric conversion. I just used a dab of e6000 glue and pushed them on top of the piezo. So far no movement under the heads. Hope this helps someone.

Theyre the prefect hight for my cast precision DDrum set, but if your drums mount the piezo under the foam, the foam is a bit too firm to conduct the vibration

Will definitely buy again if needed

The liner covering the adhesive is stuck to the adhesive and does not come off easily. When I did manage to remove the liner, there was no adhesive. I would not recommend this product and will not purchase it again.

Ignore all the bad reviews as I have been making drum triggers for sometime and these are the only ones I use as they are the best if you know what your doing 😉
