Lock Out Tag Out is a familiar terminology to anyone currently working in the field of electricity. To comply with OSHA regulations it is required of anyone working on electrical equipment (if there is any possibility of the circuit having power on it) to turn the circuit off, apply a physical lock to make sure the circuit stays off, and put a tag on the locking mechanism that tells who locked it off and the date it was locked off. The tag must also have a warning on it telling everyone to leave it turned off until the person who turned it off returns and turns it back on. This should be enforced by the fact that only the person who put the lock on it has a key to unlock it. Brady is a leading supplier of electrical supplies and has earned a reputation of reliability over the years. When I saw that Brady is the manufacturer of this kit I knew I had to give it a try. I like the belt-loop carrying case which keeps it right with me in case I need it without it getting in the way. And I especially like that it is made by Brady. I can’t say that this is any more effective than any other LOTO kit, but I will give it high marks for being exactly what it should be. If you are in the market for a LOTO kit and you care about the branding of it, then this is the kit for you.

Everything else was okay. But I am missing the key to the Lockout padlock.

The quality of the materials in the kit is solid. I only have one issue with the multi-lock hasps design, but it's going to depend on the maturity of your safety culture as to whether or not it will work for you. I prefer the locking tabs like item B0045Y0N1S has (sorry, don't recall how to hyperlink in here). With the locking tabs, you can't pull the hasp off the lockout device if it is an older type (sheet metal thin as the gap). For most uses these will do, especially if your team understands and respects LOTO (which I hope yours does).TL;DR review- these will meet the intentions of 29 CFR 1910.147 and you are good if you use them, just remember that OSHA regs are like getting a "C" on your report card.

Perfect kit for construction workers. My husband is a Millwright/Welder and is always needing lockout/tagout items. This is a handy pouch with everything needed. Color makes it easy to identify, and is OSHA compliant.

Very nice personal LOTO kit. Very good quality material, wish it had a couple of more locks. Product is as described, far better than anticipated.

Everything as advertised. I like the soft bag. It squeezes into my work tool box perfectly. I will be buying a few more for our different departments.
