First of all I need to make sure you understand these calipers are literally for disc brakes only, not for use on drum brakes! Make sure of your type of brakes before you purchase this product. Wear safety gloves and safety goggles when using. So, I must mention here that I am NOT an expert or a mechanic. I simply do not have the kind of money just laying around to run off and take my car or pickup to a mechanic each and every time I need something fixed. A simple YouTube video and this caliper compression tool made my life so much easier and I was able to replace the brakes on both vehicles with relative ease.I still have no idea what any of it means, but I do know that using this with its remarkably easy to use handle allowed me to work on my brakes and not be worried about my arthritis. I simply squeezed and followed all the instructions and I saved a lot of time and money and within a couple hours all vehicles were fixed up and I was out the door to the park to enjoy some time with friends.

Broke after my first use. I bought this to use for my quad piston caliper, and it couldn't handle pushing i the pistons back in. Not only that, it broke and will not compress anymore after the first time I used it.If you're looking to get something like this, I would recommend finding one of better quality.

Clunky but better that C Clamp. These had to be reset several times to fully compress my dual piston calipers. They worked faster and easier than C Clamps did. It feels solid and hsould be fine for DIY.Process:1) Insert old pad against pistons2) insert tool and max out tool3) release and reset toolrepeat steps 2 and 3 until fully compressed.
