Why We Must Have Brake Fluid Tester (BF-200)?
Brake pressure was transmitted by brake fluid, the pressure transmission will be out of function once brake fluid including too much water. In order to safe-driving,we must test water ratio scale in brake fluid regularly. The brake fluid tester helps us do current maintenance, make sure we drive in safe condition.

How To Use ?
1. Install 2 AAA 1.5v batteries at the back of brake fluid tester.(battery not included)
2. After inserting the battery, press POWER button to turn on the tester, the LCD display lights turn on indicates the product self-test is successful.
3. Press MENU button,it will recycle from DOT3 to DOT4 to DOT5.1 on the display. Select the brake fluid model of your vehicle.
4. Put the goose neck probe into the brake fluid and see the data on the display.
5. According to results to find out the status of brake fluid.
Indicator Results:
0.1% - 0.5% High Purity (Good)
1.0% - 2.0% Status Is Acceptable (OK)
3.0% - 4.0% Need To Replace (Dangerous)
Tips:
In order to insure braking performance, it's recommended when measuring the index to reach the range of ≥3%,please change the brake fluid in time to protect driving safety.

This instrument is very easy to use and performs as described. It saved me money as the service provider who does maintenance on my car said my brake fluid was contaminated with moisture and he was going to change it at a cost of $180. I used the tester to measure the moisture in the brake fluid and found it well within the safe zone and did not need to be replaced. That makes me conclude that my service provider may not be ethical. I think I'll take my business elsewhere.

Reads as advertised and extends fluid changes based on humidity readings of fluid. Saving money and reducing frequency of brake bleeds in 3 vehicles. What's not to like?

As a part time auto technician this tool helps cut out any guesswork when it comes to testing brake fluid. Great piece of gear to add to your workshop. It does exactly what is advertised and checks water content in Brake fluid. Personally Tested Dot3 and Dot 5 with excellent visual and audible results. Highly recommended. And at a really great price.

I bought this thinkin git would be better than the simple pen types. I was wrong. This is junk. On new fluid from a sealed container it said the moisture content was unacceptable and needed to be replaced. It errored on every car I tried it on. Honestly. I wish I had never bought this pile of rubbish. I would not recommend anyone buy this at all.I've only rated this one star as thats the lowest. I wish there was a negative scoring system.
