Got pulled over for no brake lights. Both fuses good and bulbs good. No power to brake light socket when brake pedal pressed. 2006 trailblazer. Thought what the heck let’s try it. A little difficult to put on due to clip, but after mind reset, got it all together. Tested all brake lights work. I’ll update if anything goes weird.

2006 Escalade ESV. Was down under the dash needing to finish the job for a doctor's appointment and although they look alike the brake switch sent to me is slotted on the opposite side. There's no room to mount that in reverse and wire it the right way. So I put the same switch back. Thank God I was doing a booster replacement and just wanted to replace the switch so I had a new one. This is the second time Amazon has said it's an exact fit and it hasn't been. Last time was my wife's Acura AC compressor. Going to pay a few bucks extra and go to my local brick and mortar from now on.
