I purchased an antique mini cuckoo clock because I have a few and this one was the right price and I had never seen one quite like it. On the tag where the price was listed it also stated that it worked-though it didn’t come with a key. My husband ordered this one for it because I don’t like measuring and I wasn’t sure what tool I even needed to wind it up. I was excited to see my little clock in action and I wouldn’t have been able to if it weren’t for this tool.

I got this because I misplaced my antique clock winding key. I didn't know what size I needed. My clock is over 100 years old. The only reason this key didn't work for me, is the way it is designed, my clock has a glass door, I could wind it on one side of my clock but not the other due the design and size of the key. So unfortunately I had to return it.

It works. But the overall width of the key is too big to wind my mantle clock due to the glass and hinge.
